Guest Design Team for Memory Lane
It's my "First" Guest Design Team assignment and it's with the famous scrapbook online store Memory Lane! Helen Chua asked me to design for her store some time last November, I was really happy and excited, but very nervous... I hope I did justice to this set of papers! I used Deja Views' Sharon Ann's Little One Collection and Deja Views' Mango. Here are my layout...
I wanted to make a framed page for our new wall in our dining area... been thinking of a unique one. I suddenly thought of using 4 6x6 acrylic sheets. Naku ewan ko lang kung tama ang pagkagamit ko sa acrylic, but medyo na carried away ata ako in using this Mango line, APO colors kasi kaya medyo close sa puso namin ito ng husband ko. Here's my layout...
You can shop online at www.memorylanestore.net or call Helen Chua at 714-5894, 780-7267 and 0922-8879234. Have fun shopping and scrapping!

Another Scrappin' Kids Layout...
Here's my other entry for the Scrappin' Kids' Challenge #4. Although I used both pictures of Doglas, I have to make two separate layouts of him for my two boys' scrapbooks. I used here We are Memory Keeper Explore line (Rugged and Escape) and layered chipboard stickers, Reeves acrylic paint Viridian Hue, K & Company letters to go, Craft Express and Heidi Swapp chipboard letters, some brads, twill and twine, DMC threads and Ranger glossy accents.
My 2nd time to attend an EB..
Yes, it's my second time to attend the Scrap Exchange Eye Ball! Ytet and Alain picked me up at 10am, excited to arrive on time at Sunshine Asuncion's place in BF Homes. Met Sunshine and her friend who started scrapping her wedding photos, Beth, Ria Mojica, Liza Bermudez, Mia Caniza, KitKat Ofiana and Iris Uy... hope I didn't miss anybody since we were just few. Few nga but I really had a great time, specially because I get to see Master Iris scrap! I sat beside her and just watched her, ang galing and super bilis pa! We scrapped while we chatted, I just made my layout there and embellished it at home. Thanks to Kitkat and Ytet, they were my seatmates then, Liza for lending me the coluzzle folder templates, Sunshine for the Autumn Leaves Stamps, Iris for the inspiration... and here is my finished page!
Just submitted this layout to Scrappin' Kids for their 4th Challenge... what your kids did during the December holidays? We were in Baguio and visited Doglas!

My Brag Book...
I got this 3"x3" tin can free from Kotex napkins, thinking that someday I can use it for altering. Just last week, I thought of making my family brag book... something that can I show my friends what I'm currently up to (scrapbooking!) and at the same time show how big my kids are! I used here Basic Grey Mellow papers and rubons, 7 Gypsies paper clip, letter rubons, K & co. tags to go, Prima flowers and journalling pad, brads, metal charms, some ribbons, rick rack, fibers, Autumn Leaves bottons, DMC threads, glittered glue, and MM glaze-clear gloss.

A Wedding Present...
I made this clock last thursday, my cousin asked me to do this for her. It's their wedding present to her boyfriend's friend who's getting married today. I used here BG-Mellow Savory for the base paper and cut the BG-Mellow Flavorful for the main accent. Glittered the flowers and diecut the numbers of the clock. Thanks for looking...

Christmas Layouts...
I know this is quite late, but I just finished scrapping our Christmas pictures today... I had fun using the Scenic Route-Roxbury line and the Webster Pages-Mistletoe Kisses papers that I got all from Lasting Impression. I also got some Provocraft Christmas papers from Scrapbukan. Let me share my layouts with you guys...
I bundled up all the gift tags that Luigi got and included it in the page, got the idea from Pia Lopez's layout. Thanks for the idea Pia!
Our family picture! My boys didn't want to wear red! So I was the only one who had to change my shirt to suit their color of choice, grrr! I used here a "Happiness Card" for my journals, ate Liezl's Christmas gift-7 Gypsies' paperclip, and Scenic Route-Roxburry papers.
I already made an 8x11 layout of this, but I wanted to do it again! So this time I scrapped it on a 12x12 page, used Rhonna Farrer paper.
A simple page of all my pamangkins and kids. I usually make a page to see them grow each year, yon bang tipong "sino ngayon ang walang front teeth?" or "Who is now the tallest of all?" All for the fun of bonding and reminiscing...
I made this layout for the 3rd Challenge of Scrappin' Kids. Although I didn't win, I'm still so happy with this layout... very Christmas! Just the same as Luigi's 1st layout, I bundled again the gift tags and secured them at the back of his photo.
So, now I'm done with my Christmas pictures... I'm so excited to do our vacation pictures naman! Ciao!

2007 Accomplishments
Talking about my great love for scrapbooking, year 2007 was such a good one for me! Besides having a lot of new stash and tools last year, I really have a lot to be grateful for... first of all, my Auntie Linda, my Uncle Bill and my cousins in US for their never ending generosity in getting me all the stash that I want. To ate Liezl, Dra. Rita, Cors, Helga, Dra. Chiqui, Diane, Ella, Cabbie, Cookie, Liza B., Ytet and Yvette for the friendship. Timi, for editing my journals and for always giving me a push on my back. Scrappin' Moms for the chance to make it to the final round of the Idol. Joanne Yap, for the trust and many lessons learned in scrapbooking service. To Anabel and Angel of Leo's Photo for their patience in editing and printing my pictures. My Mommy, husband Dodo and my sons for the understanding everytime I needed to stay up late or needed some peace and quiet in the house just to finish a layout. Maraming Salamat sa inyo!
A few days before the year ended, I had a few moments to look at my albums and pondered the memories of 2007. I made 2 albums and a total of 56 layouts, and 193 pages for service. And out of these creations, I was lucky to won on 6 layouts... "When you wish upon a Star" for July's Scrapbytes, "Larger than Life" for Lasting Impression's Scenic Route Challenge, "At Three" for Scrapbukan's 3rd Anniversary Challenge- I was on the 4th place, "Splash" for My Little Attic's BG Multiple-photo Challenge, "My Stuff" for My Little Attic's on the spot Fancy Pants Challenge and lastly and the latest, "No Photos" for Scrapbook's Hawaii Around the Block Challenge. Hmmm, thanks to the judges and store sponsors... and the prizes! So many prizes and still so much to learn and share for this year. For a start, I decorated Enzo's album cover with a 6x6 acrylic sheet. Just a little layout to show what's inside the album, try it yourself!
Happy Scrappin' for this new year! Hope there'll be more events, challenges and plenty of photos to scrap...
