Changing Times...

Sad to say, but this will be my last layout for Scrap Yourself... huhuhu! I was part of the Design Team for 2 terms now since June 2010 and so sad I have to say goodbye. I want to share this layout as I enter a new chapter in my life... I am now in my middle age and I am so happy that at this point of my life, I still have something new and exciting happening with me. I am now an Elementary School Teacher...

Changing Times... my journaling goes " Life's Experiments is finding out, I can be a TEACHER and still live with peace, love and happiness. I used here Prima Youth- The Best Things and Chuckster pps, and Romantica Collection- Rendezvous pps, Prima Flutter Vines Scarlet flowers and Essential 5 Space Boy flowers, Bangkok flowers, Jillibeans Soup Atomic journaling sprouts, cardstocks, AAS pearl gromets, fibers, AC pps for the bird cutout and Tattered Angel glimmer mists.

It's SEM BREAK! I have the privilege to enjoy a-7 day off from school just like the students, YeHEy! And since I am still adjusting to my daily schedule, I want to spend my vacation with my kids and have lots of rest (since I'm not also feeling well lately!) My first week in school-work was both tiring but FUN, specially that I got to witness the celebration of a bonggasious United Nations' Day. And all in all, this changing times will always be cherished and remembered.

That's all for now... Thanks for looking again!

Give Yourself...

Hello Everyone! It's Monday and its Scrap Yourself reveal for me again. Do visit us daily in our blog because we have lots of ideas and inspirations to keep you creating and scrapping.

Give Yourself... This photo was taken at the Japanese Garden in Caliraya, Laguna, Holy Thursday of last year. It was a time for meditation and thinking about what I want to happen in my life. Then I thought that I should believe in myself first and I should give myself more love, dream and time and to make things possible! I used here Webster's Pages -Sweet as Cherry Pie, Set the Table and Magical Wishes, Magical Life, lace, abaca twine, Prima flowers, MM gem brad, foam flowers, Kaisercraft's pearls, Tattered Angel marshmallow glimmer mist and Nicole nostalgic shapes.

Last week was a little depressing for us Filipinos because of the hostage taking and a lot of national issues, I wish this new week will be a lot better. I'm starting it up with a-Mommy's day OUT with my fellow Scrapaholics, we are going to celebrate Ate Liezl's birthday somewhere south of Laguna. Today is a holiday and the kids are staying home with their Dad... wish the house is still up when I get home tonight.

Have a great week ahead and TFL!

She...

I am so happy that I am still with Scrap Yourself and I'm on my second term now! And for my first post assignment, I thought of posting this old project we did during one of Scrapping Moms' Scrapfest in Manila. The album comes in a unique top loading box and slip on 6x6" page protectors. Please join us at Scrap Yourself blog and be inspired to start creating about yourself...

The pages were created on 6x6" Basic Grey papers, Prima flowers, brads and metal ornaments, buttons and threads, cardstocks, ribbons, fluid chalk inks and epoxy letter stickers. The album case was customized and was covered with Chatter Box papers and decorated with K and Company papers and some ribbons. This happened to be my first "All About Me" project and it made me appreciate and love myself more.

Happy Monday friends and thank you for always dropping by my blog...

... and the Latest!

Hello Everyone! Can't believe its less than six months before Christmas time again!

My world is on a run, although I stay at home most of the time this days, I'm a BBbbzzzzz Mama. Thank God that flu fever is finally over in our household. It's birthday month for both the Virtucio's and Alicbusan's... 5th Louie, DK and Uncle Totoy (+), 9th Uncle Eddie, 23rd my Mom, 26th Auntie Letty (+), and 31st my cousin Dra. Ellen Vivo. Did I miss anyone? Surely, this month will be full of family gatherings.

I'm now scrapping for a friend in Canada, working on the debut of her princess. This is what's keeping me up this days, plus I'm trying to regularly attend the free aerobics every Saturday at UPLB Baker Hall with my scrappy girlfriends Ate Liezl, Doc Rita, Doc Chiqui, Nanay Cors and Lola Ytet. I don't have plans on getting back my old waistline, I just wanna stay fit and health specially that Cholesterol is on a heavy guarding. Then, I had a MILIA removed on the corner of my right eye last Saturday. It looks like a white head but actually its a cyst.

Finally, Scrap Yourself's Challenge 10 will be up on Wednesday and its about Childhood Memories. I had lots of them and majority are happy ones! I have to praise my parents for giving us a happy life. It may not be that luxurious but it was a comfortable and a happy childhood. Now that I am also a Mom, I TRY to share and give the same experience to my kids like my parents did to me and my 2 brothers. Let's see what my co-DTs have to share on Wednesday.... join us at Scrap Yourself!

Enjoy the coming week, happy Scrapping! TFL!

Built 2000...My journaling goes: Painted the walls on cream, blue and violet. Decorated our home with olive green and antique blue curtains, country ceramic houses, pillows and candles. Kept it simple and clean all the time. This is my house and I am the master here! SY4: If I could Turn Back Time...

This is this week's challenge at Scrap Yourself and you can view my co-DTs' reveal here. This topic was chosen by Jill Sarginson, she just had to leave the group for some reasons. We'll gonna miss her pages, but we surely hope she'll come back again to inspire us all. Here's what I came up with...

Always Be... If I could turn back the time? I want my little Lorenzo to ALWAYS BE my baby. Its so selfish of me to wish, but I know that one day this little kid will grow up and find his life, and will no longer be mine to hug and kiss. I just wish time will slow down a bit to somehow enjoy him more. I used here Prima papers, flowers, centers, lace, letters and epoxy sticker, silk flowers and leaves from Bangkok, Ranger Crackle paint, ribbons and cardstock.

Are you watching Cinema One channel? Have you seen the different windows flashing before a movie starts? I got this window idea from that, I just thought it could be a great idea to use in scrapbooking... try it, create your own window!

Oh my! I've been so lazy after my dental check up, been nursing a healing gums since Monday. This week was so relaxed, I was just hanging around the house and FBing... Gotta go out for some sunshine, tomorrow!

Thanks for looking!
