Cable Car Ride

I am taking things easy as I do my countdown on my vacation days... I have exactly 8 days before work and 6 days before my 4th semester in school starts. I am just happy to spend my 3 weeks scrapping and scrapping! I made 40 12x12 pages, 3 6x12 pages and 2 months backlog in my Project Life. I am just happy that Mr. Mojo never left me, well I still have a few pictures to end this summer vacation.

I also facebook a lot and found this challenge at Scrap Around the World through one of their design team member Teacher Jessy Christopher whom I met during my Scrapping Kids days in Singapore. The inspiration I got from the mood board was the camera and the captured moments, while I just followed the sketch with my own interpretation. Here goes my page...

Cable Car Ride... Lorenzo was afraid but enjoyed the ride afterwards. It was one of the unforgettable experience in  Ocean Park, Hong Kong. I used here K and Company pps, AC cardstock, My Little Showbox pps and Echo Park cardstock stickers, metal brads, cork sticker and Maya Road glimmer mist.

Its great to be joining online challenges once again, I miss this so much! I hope to find time to search and join from time to time. Oh well, it brings back the old days of scrapbooking, sites, online contest, prizes, random picking and a lot more. So goodluck to me!

Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!

It's Monday once again, time to MOVE it! Need to be positive in all the things that will be coming along the week. Lorenzo will be having his 1st Long Test in Grade One and I'm short of time for my Prelims too. Lorenzo is doing good in Math, but Teacher Helga called me up for some back up for his English subject. I wonder what is going on with Luigi? Everyday seemed to be moving fast but everything is under control, stress is far out! I just wish to find time to create and play, hahaha!

Happy Monday peeps and thanks for looking as always!

Mission To Create #26

I was so lazy yesterday and all I did was SURF! Then I came across this site Mission to Create! Its like an element challenge and they are loaded with exciting things. Hope you find time to check it out!

Mission #26 asked for a sheet music, use of decorative scissors or edge punchers, a shiny thing, rub-on alphabets and at least 3 funky bright cardstocks. I used all 5 elements on my page and here's what I came up with...

WTG!... Way to Go little Lorenzo! I am just so proud of my little boy for being a star kid in his pre-school for a week. I scrapped here his certificate and our photo together. I used here cardstocks, MM musical notes pps, Jillibean Soup Atomic journaling spourt, letter rub-ons, Carolees' cardstock stickers, buttons, blings, ribbons, Ranger's glossy accents, baker's twine and My Little Bit of Whimsy bee pin.

I'm happy I was able to scrap 2 layouts today. Thanks for the inspiration I got from MTC.

Mission To Create #25

Mission #25 is to create a card or a layout with an envelope, colour beige or cream, doiley, stripe and polkadot and something clear like a crystal, hole or transparency. Made some close up shots of my 5 elements here...

Bliss... My friend Rinda and her daughter Faye share a blissful relationship as mother and daughter. Moments like this, I miss having one myself, because I never had a daughter and I am an only girl in the family. I used here DCWV cardstock and printed papers, doiley, Hambly tansparency, blings ribbons, envelope and Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

Thanks for looking!

At Play with MLS!

I had a great day today just playing with My Little Shoebox papers. I only have a few but it went thru a loonnnggg way I tell you, and it was FUN! I finally get to scrap some personal photos... giving myself a little space to breath after more than a month long of doing scrap service. And now, I am excited to join this month's challenge at MLS, it's a sketch and product challenge. Here's what I came up with...

Fish Feeding... We've been visiting Nuvali, Sta. Rosa for a few times but this was the first time Lorenzo get to feed the Koi. He was sooo excited, he bought about 4-5 packs of fish food. I used here My Little Shoebox papers (Flying High's Bird's Eye View and Mile High, All a Flutter's Wings and Things), Prima blings and pearl, baker's twine, Tim Holtz journaling ticket, AC Thickers chipboard letter, Colorbok transparent letter stickers, glittered glue and Colorbox fluid chalkink.

Follow your Bliss.. My minimalist interpretation of the sketch where I played with acrylic paints on my fingers and sprayed glimmer mist for my background. I love this photo of my cousin Dionne and her baby boy Quinn. I used here white cardstock, My Little Shoebox papers (Flying High's Bird's Eye View and All a Flutter's Flutterby and Wings and Things), chipboard flower, AAS wire, Kaisercraft crafter's acrylic paints, Tattered Angel's blue and marshmallow glimmer mists, American Craft and Dear Lizzy's Rubon transfers and glittered glue.

I traded off my schedule for today with scrapping. I was supposed to watch my eldest son's dulaan in school, but Luigi told me not to watch because he might get conscious in acting the role of Don Timoteo. Good thing eventhough I did not attend, their class WON! Actually, I woke up at the wrong side of the bed but I opted to change my mood to attract good vibes the whole day. Oh well, I ended up making 4 pages using my few MLS papers. I will post the rest of my MLS pages soon.

That's it for now, TFL!

Forever My Boy...

Forever My Boy... He certainly looks like a young man, but for me he will always be my BOY! my first born Luigi... I used here Crate Papers, DCWV die cut pps from Dra. Chiqui, AC Thickers chipboard shapes, K and Company paper flowers, buttons, baker's thread, Webster Pages mini cards, metal embies, MM Tiny Alphas, blings, chipboard word and Tatttered Angel glimmer mist.

This is my take for Scrap, Inspire, Create's monthly challenge. They called for a man, boy, male page with a twist on using chipboard embies. I bought this scraps of chipboard words from my friend Dra. Rita long time ago. Since its kraft in color, I just sprayed it with blue glimmer mist and used foam tapes to give it a depth effect. Love the effect of the glimmer mist.

I'll definitely miss scrapping when my review class starts! And that's my greatest fear for now, having no time to scrap... OMG!

Friends Forever!

I was home for more than a week now... after that depressing flu, I had to stay at home to take care of my baby boy Lorenzo. He had fever for three days and now he's coughing like a dog. But he's a lot better now, that's why I have my "ME" time to surf, FB and scrap, of course.

I miss scrapping with sketches and so I went to see the latest at Creative Scrappers. Then I hopped over at Method Playground for their latest challenge. The challenge was to use edge punchers and here are two pages I made for that challenge. Used same photos which I'm planning to give to my childhood girlfriends Marife and Tinay...

Friends for Keeps... Marife was my classmate way back pre-school days at the Maquiling School in UPLB, so you can imagine the longest time we had spent together. I love you Fe! I used here Basic Grey Aged and Confused-Sublime Collection pps, KI pps and lace paper, October Afternoon pps, cardstocks, local blings, ribbons, Prima flowers, Petaloo Flora Doodles flowers with blings, Doodlebug cardstock letter stickers, MM Tiny Alphas, and epoxy buttons.

Friends for Life... Tinay is my chinese-blood highschool barkada who laughs contagiously silly, there was never a dull moment with her and I love her for that! I used here MM Passport pps, MM pps, ribbon, K and Company paper flowers, Prima flowers, buttons, baker's thread from Dra. Chiqui, cardstock, AAS gromets and foamed letters, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, Chatterbox chipboard embies, Jillibeans Soup journaling sprout, and silk leaves.

Feels so good to finish something after a long time of being idle, specially when Mr. Mojo works with you hand in hand. I'm happy that I'm back on my feet again!

Thanks for looking!

Scrap, Inspire, Create's 2nd year Celebration!

SIC is celebrating their 2nd year anniversary this month and as always, its celebrated with a bang! They are having a "Topping Brand Challenge" and its sooo exciting! My first time to play with this kind of challenge, you get to choose what set of brand you like and you ONLY have use these brands on your layout. Here's what I came up with...

Just US... Its Mommyla and Lorenzo's bonding time at Enchanted Kingdom. Oh I forgot another twist on their challenge, there should be a number 2 element on your page. I used here Topping #1 which is K and Company-Floral Bella Filagree Printed embossed vellum; Webster's Pages-Lullaby Lane in due time pps; and Prima-epoxy sticker and alphabets, Flutter Vines Scarlet and peach flowers, and chipboard photo corners.

Happy Scrapping friends... TFL!

Office Supplies...

For two weeks that I haven't scrapped at all, I had the time to surf and blog hop... and of course, FACEBOOK! Then I came across Method Playground again, and this time their challenge is to use office supplies on a layout. Here's my page...

Egg Hunting 2010... I finally scrapped Lorenzo's egg hunt photos. This year we had it at the UPLB Animal parking area last April 4, 2010. He got 5 eggs and lots of toys and food. I used here Karen Foster pps, Sassafras Lass pps, glittered glue, ribbons, cardstocks, colorbox fluid chalk ink, Craft Express paper clip. And for the office supplies, I used a brown coin envelope, torn notebook page and alphabet tabs.

Tomorrow will be the last day in school of Luigi and Lorenzo, so that means a month OFF for me for the whole of May... YaHoOOooo! Can't wait!

TFL!

Lucky!

Here's a page I did for the Element Challenge at Design Dollies inspired by the "Lucky" theme...

Lucky to have YOU... here's another photo of my nephew Quinn. I think this was taken just a few minutes after his birth. I used here Sassafras pps, corrugated kraft board, K and Company 3D word stickers, satin flowers, blings, Heidi Swapp journal spot, glittered glue, AC Thickers foam letters, transparent letter stickers, and cardstock.

I am getting so excited because I only have a week in school, it's my final exams this week! I decided not to take summer classes because I want to enjoy my summer vacation, YahoO! Then I can scrap... 'til I drop!

Thanks for looking peeps!

Mommy Scraps has a Recipe Challenge... she asked for 3 circles, color green, 2 different kinds of ribbons and inked edges. For my three circles, I cut a big circle cardstock, another one on the inside portion of the big circle and my journaling spot. I love the apple green shade which I painted on my BOY chipboard. The two different kinds of ribbons can be found at the lower area, I used rikrak and organza ribbons clipped on the brads which I used as centers of my flowers. And finally, I inked my cardstock circle with olive fluid chalk ink. Hmmm, I hope I got all the ingredients listed to make this recipe challenge!

My Boy... Another page for baby Quinn, love this close up shot of this beautiful baby boy! I used here DCWV Nana Kids pps and cardstocks, Prima flowers, AAS brads and chipboard letters, Heidi Swapp journal spot, Colorbox fluid chalk ink, organza ribbon, rikrak ribbon, MM acrylic paint and K & company letter stickers.
Color challenge! Found this challenge from Leah the Orange of Design Dollies. Earthy colors such as orange, cream and brown are nice combi to play with, here's what I ended up on a baby layout...

Grow Little Dude... It's baby Quinn with Lolo Bill! I used here Chatterbox pps, DCWV cardstock and Nana Kids pps, Scenic Route Liberty pps, corrugated board, Prima flowers and journaling pad, buttons, K & Company chipboard word and glittered glue.

I had a very productive weekend and my mojo is still here, YeHeY! Thanks for looking peeps!
