Play Time!

I'm glad I'm back on SCRAPPING! I play around during free time and rest time, hehehe! This is a mini album I made for a co-teacher, it took me the whole morning to do this 6 page-album with blank pages and just a decorated cover. I used here Prima flowers, My Little Shoebox papers, cardstocks for the titles, brads, backer's twine and assorted pps. I'm glad I used my Bind it All again, it was stock in my cabinet for some time now.

Let's scrap it away, TFL!

Party, PARTY!

We had a whole day of FUN yesterday! First part of the day was a Christmas program performed by our students and a surprise dance number by the faculty and staff of our school. I am so proud of my Grade 3 for singing and dancing the song "Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko". They all looked great on their red shirts, santa's hat and my last minute glittered stars. They were the one who picked the song to perform and choose what to wear, I was just there to make the steps and practice them every single day in two weeks. After their number, I was like a proud Mama like what I always feel when I'm with my own kids. Then afterwards, we had our homeroom party where we played, danced and ate lunch together. Seeing my students with their happy faces makes my heart happy too in spite the different challenges I am going through as a first timer teacher. This makes me like the idea of our theme for this year "Let's Make Each Day Christmas!", not just because there are lots of money, food and festivities on Christmas season but because its stress FREE! Let me share my day yesterday...

The third part was the Teachers and Staff's Christmas Party! This is the time where we can all bond and party, and forget about the tests, grades and etc, hahahah! I was part of the managing committee of yesterday's event and I was happy I was able to help in a little way that I know.

I am not a PINK person, but I think I am starting to like it... hehehe! Thanks for looking peeps!

Sketchabilities #37!

Hello everyone! I am officially on vacation starting today, YeHey! I wish to start it with blogging because I really missed my scrapping life. I wish to share this Christmas layout which I did for Sketchabilities...

Believe... This is my bestfriend Mae and her family who stays in America. Got lots of her photos and planning to scrap them one by one. I just miss her so much because we haven't seen each other for about 10 years since I visited her in California in 2000. This one is for you! I used here Fancy Pants papers and card, DCWV paper, Bazzill cardstock edges, glittered glue, blings, corrugated board and Tattered Angel glimmer mist.

18 days OFF from school starts today! I wish to spend my Holiday with my boys and family of course, I want to go somewhere, spend some time with the Scrapaholics, SCRAP and blog again, back up my photo files aside from my passport storage, study my coming lessons and make my tests, and just RELAX! A lot of things to do, I just hope everything fits in 18 days...

Its almost Christmas now and I know that everybody is busy partying and shopping. But THANK YOU SO MUCH for always dropping by here!

Another year...

In a few hours from now, I will be turning 42! Getting old I guess, but I STILL don't feel my age. I am so thankful for the 42 years of life, blessings, friendship, scrapping and happiness. All I can wish for myself is good health and more more years with my boys and my family.

I was cleaning up my scrap table yesterday and found this card my little Lorenzo made for me. He made this a few weeks ago and I just read it now. Just in time for my birthday I guess. Ohh, melts my heart!

Life is good! Thanks for looking as always!

Sketchabilities #35!

I know I am out of touch lately...been SO busy with school and I can't hardly open my blog and facebook. I am still adjust until now I guess, its been a long while but yeah, still adjusting and learning a lot. I am so tired everyday, all I am thinking of is this will soon pass and I will get over it.

Today is a national holiday here in the Philippines and we are celebrating the muslim's eid. Just realized that it is halfway November already and I have another page due for sketchabilities. Sketch #35 is up here. Join us for another month of scrapping with sketches and winning scrap goodies. Here's what I came up with...

Linggo ng Wika... Little Lorenzo celebrated the Linggo ng Wika wearing the famous red pants and scraf, and white camisa de chino. They recited the poem "Ang Ama't Ina ko..." Here I used double sided cardstocks, October Afternoon pps and journaling card, baker's twine, Kaisercraft crafter's acrylic paint, K and Company's tags to go, Bazzill cardstock edges and AAS brad.

I wish I can slowly go back to scrapping, I miss my MOJO ever! Thanks for looking peeps... really appreciate those who regularly visits my blog!

Our Room...

Just the thought of having my own classroom EXCITES me! I am now the homeroom adviser of SBIS' Grade 3-Rosemary. Making our little room like my own house and playing, eating and studying with the kids keep my daily routine both fun and challenging. I am enjoying my new role as a teacher, but still I have a little regret on being away from my own kids for 8 hours. Oh well, this is life!

Here's what I did during my sembreak... I made our daily activity board, classroom officers, bulletin board and a couple of slogans.I used cartolinas, illustration boards, plastic covers, cardstocks for my letters, gift wrappers and patterned papers for the embies and Tattered Angel glimmer mist. I'm still doing our birthday fiesta and getting ready for Christmas. Still have a lot of plans for our little home in school, I just hope I have the mojo and power to do them all.

Its raining almost everyday and the kids are down with colds. Hope they will be fine by next week. Thanks for looking again!
