Lorenzo's Guests...

This was my idea of a guest's book... something I can keep together with Lorenzo's pages. I let the guests signed here...

Chuy at Seven... These two pages were signed by Chuy's classmates, friends and family members. Made them 2 hours before the party, so you can just imagine me rushing around my scrap table. I used here Crate Papers pps, cardstocks, MLYB papers, corrugated board and Maya Mists.

It has been a week now and I am still tired! I just have all 3 cameras downloaded with tons of photos, planning to sort the photos to have them printed and scrapped, but until now I haven't touch a thing. I'm looking forward for my summer vacation to do them all.

Thanks for looking again... !

I made it again!

... YES, I made it again for another 3 months at Sketchabilities! I am so happy to be with the team again! Looking forward for more sketches and pages with you... Thanks Karan!

Lorenzo turned 7!

Let me share some of the preparations I did for his big bash...

... and I would like to THANK the people who helped me make all these possible!

My Mom, brother Jay and SIL Che... for preparing the yummy food and the cotton candy booth.

McDonald's Vega, Los Banos... Luisa and Kid McDo for hosting the party and making the kids happy.

My cousins Jonjo and Buggy, my hubby... for the party place preparations.

My cousins Janice and Maan... for their big hands in helping me make the keychain give-aways and the last minute butingtingin. I love you both!

My fellow scrapper Ytet Solivet... for unselfishly sharing her things with me!

My brother Louie and cousins Ronald and Nancy... for the great memorable shoots.

Ms. Lei Tajao... for the wonderful cake!

Tita Baby Gonzalodo of Bebece... for the chairs and tables rentals.

Tito Jun and Tita Gay Manahan... for the beautiful tarp.

My co-teacher Anton Gallego... for drawing Woody and his hat.

... and to all the guests and friends who came and made Lorenzo the happiest kiddo that day.

Sketchabilities # 42!

This may come late here in my blog... been quite busy for the past weeks! But it always excites me to share a page for Sketchabilities! Here's sketch 42 and its up here...

Shabu-shabu... It was our 18th wedding anniversary and we celebrated it in Tagaytay. We were driving around the hill to find a good place to have lunch when we found this shabu-shabu resto. Tried it and the last thing I heard was a lonnnggg BURP! It was Lorenzo's first time to cook and eat shabu-shabu. I used here DCWV Green Stack pps, cardstocks, AC Thickers foam shapes, K and Company diecut flowers, Jillibeans journaling sprouts, DMC thread and Ranger glossy accents.

Been out of touch for almost 3 weeks, been so occupied preparing for Lorenzo's 7th Birthday Bash plus need to do the final stretch for school requirements. All came up at the same time and I was afraid I might lost time. But inspite of all these, blessings are still pouring! Thank God!

Thanks for looking as always!

sketchabilities # 41!

Its up and you can see the designer's inspirations here. Join us for another month of challenge and win exciting scrapbook goodies. In the meantime, here's my interpretation of sketch #41...

Rainbow of Friends... My scrapbooking buddies truly have unique birthday ideas and they make sure that you will be the happiest on your special day. Here we celebrated Dra. Chiqui and Ytet's birthdays at Sanctuario de San Pablo. Its such a nice place to create a rainbow of friendship! I used here Prima papers and flowers, cardstock, corrugated board, AAS gromets, fibers, lace, Ranger glossy accents and transparent letter stickers.

Just had my first PTC in school last weekend. I was so worried and nervous but it all turned out okay! Now we're heading towards the last quarter of the school year. It'll be exactly 6 weeks from now. At the same time, I am now busy preparing for little Lorenzo's 7th celebration. I need all the powers to do both Mommy and teacher duties, so wish me luck again.

Thanks for looking peeps!

Grow Slowly...

Grow Slowly... My Luigi is growing up to be a young man! Say I'm selfish but I wish you'll slow down and be my baby forever. I used here Websters Pages papers and Sparklers, White cardstock, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, Prima flowers, ribbons and lace, Tsukineko inks, Colorbox fluid chalk ink and Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I made some paper tearing and distressing on the mat of my photo. Then, I cut some flower-like patterns from Webster's Pages lefterovers and I had paper folding and layering to give it a 3D look. Overall, I have a pleasant feeling of creating a Webster's Pages papers on a boy layout... it was FUN!

This is my page for Iris Uy's challenge. I hope I did justice using my paper leftovers.

Thanks for looking and Happy LOVE day tomorrow!
