Sketchabilities #34!

It's finally up here. And this month's challenge will be due on November 10, so better play with our 2 sketches now so you'll have the chance to win a $35 worth of yummy scrapkit from Scraphotz! Here's my take for sketch #34...

Jack! Here's another page for my brother's loving dog Jack! This dog is a super spoiled but loving little pet who goes to the vet and grooming regularly, who ate my brother's eyeglasses and who has an UAE passport in case he needs to ride the plane. I used here DCWV pps, cardstocks, AAS wire, KI lace paper, Prima flowers, blings, MM gem brads, staple wires, Bazzill cardstock edges and lace.

Sembreak is more than halfway already! I only have 2 days left and still want to do a lot of things here at home like finish sewing my Christmas gifts, clean my dirty kitchen, start wrapping holiday presents, surf the net, start planning for little Chuy's 7th birthday and of course, SCRAP! When I get back to school, I will be on my own now teaching little kids how to play and love numbers. Oh well, all these will make life more exciting for me as the days move on to the Christmas season.

Wait, have to start dressing up for our Trick or Treat party tonight with my scrappy friends and family... have to go now! Happy Halloween peep!

Changing Times...

Sad to say, but this will be my last layout for Scrap Yourself... huhuhu! I was part of the Design Team for 2 terms now since June 2010 and so sad I have to say goodbye. I want to share this layout as I enter a new chapter in my life... I am now in my middle age and I am so happy that at this point of my life, I still have something new and exciting happening with me. I am now an Elementary School Teacher...

Changing Times... my journaling goes " Life's Experiments is finding out, I can be a TEACHER and still live with peace, love and happiness. I used here Prima Youth- The Best Things and Chuckster pps, and Romantica Collection- Rendezvous pps, Prima Flutter Vines Scarlet flowers and Essential 5 Space Boy flowers, Bangkok flowers, Jillibeans Soup Atomic journaling sprouts, cardstocks, AAS pearl gromets, fibers, AC pps for the bird cutout and Tattered Angel glimmer mists.

It's SEM BREAK! I have the privilege to enjoy a-7 day off from school just like the students, YeHEy! And since I am still adjusting to my daily schedule, I want to spend my vacation with my kids and have lots of rest (since I'm not also feeling well lately!) My first week in school-work was both tiring but FUN, specially that I got to witness the celebration of a bonggasious United Nations' Day. And all in all, this changing times will always be cherished and remembered.

That's all for now... Thanks for looking again!

Mission To Create #26

I was so lazy yesterday and all I did was SURF! Then I came across this site Mission to Create! Its like an element challenge and they are loaded with exciting things. Hope you find time to check it out!

Mission #26 asked for a sheet music, use of decorative scissors or edge punchers, a shiny thing, rub-on alphabets and at least 3 funky bright cardstocks. I used all 5 elements on my page and here's what I came up with...

WTG!... Way to Go little Lorenzo! I am just so proud of my little boy for being a star kid in his pre-school for a week. I scrapped here his certificate and our photo together. I used here cardstocks, MM musical notes pps, Jillibean Soup Atomic journaling spourt, letter rub-ons, Carolees' cardstock stickers, buttons, blings, ribbons, Ranger's glossy accents, baker's twine and My Little Bit of Whimsy bee pin.

I'm happy I was able to scrap 2 layouts today. Thanks for the inspiration I got from MTC.

Mission To Create #25

Mission #25 is to create a card or a layout with an envelope, colour beige or cream, doiley, stripe and polkadot and something clear like a crystal, hole or transparency. Made some close up shots of my 5 elements here...

Bliss... My friend Rinda and her daughter Faye share a blissful relationship as mother and daughter. Moments like this, I miss having one myself, because I never had a daughter and I am an only girl in the family. I used here DCWV cardstock and printed papers, doiley, Hambly tansparency, blings ribbons, envelope and Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

Thanks for looking!

Good finds!

My friend Doc Ritz got this for me from Made with Love, Singapore. The time she was shopping, Thickers were on "buy 2, take 1" sale. And finally, I get to have the newest Prima christmas flowers and Jillibean Soup Atomic journaling sprouts which I was hunting for even in Dubai. Thanks Doc Ritz!

All About Scrapbooking can be found at any National Bookstore nationwide. Its so nice that they have foam, glittered and chipboard letters stickers now, plus of course their colorful brads. Check it out!

I am now overloaded with scrapbook things... I wish to play with them real SOON. I miss my mojo and my hubby! Thanks for looking as always!
