Mini Albums at 101!

I'm a little tight this days, been literally scrapping day and night. But don't get me wrong, I love my being BUSY again. Since I'm not enrolled anymore and I cannot take my board exams this coming September, I am just HAPPY because my brother Louie is coming home on September. In spite of the total change of my year's plans, I am looking at things in a very positive way.

Another news is that my co-scrapaholic and owner of 101 Boutique, Cors! is celebrating her shop's 12th year anniversary. And we are all invited to come. I heard there will be a scrapbook challenge, will post the rules later. Well for now, I made Mini Albums the whole day today... its been awhile since I did minis. Here they are!

Accordion Minis... I used here Ki Memories papers, chipboard and ribbons. I love the color and design coordinates of the papers, matches the ribbons somehow. They are 6"x6" in size and fits at least a 3R photo.

Happy Scrapping! TFL!

SY8: Home Reflections...

I thought of scrapping something about our HOMES... this is the topic challenge this week over at Scrap Yourself. Tell us something about a favorite spot on your beautiful home, maybe a photo of your house or just anything that will reflect your personality. It'll be a great shot to remember after years from now specially if you plan for a new home or a renovation. All throughout my 41 years of life, I lived on 5 different houses and each of them have great memories and unforgettable experiences to remember. Now I have my own house for my family...

Built 2000...My journaling goes: Painted the walls on cream, blue and violet. Decorated our home with olive green and antique blue curtains, country ceramic houses, pillows and candles. Kept it simple and clean all the time. This is my house and I am the master here! I used here cardstock, October Afternoon pps, WRMK pps, My Little Shoebox pps, Sassafras pps, corrugated board, brads, blings, Heidi Swapp flower blings, tongue depressor, glittered glue and Colorbox fluid chalk ink.

Join us weekly at SY so you can scrap about yourself! YUP, its also scrapping time for me this days, while waiting for my other plans to move. I'm taking things easy for now before I review for my board exams. Wheeew, wish me LUCK!

Forever My Boy...

Forever My Boy... He certainly looks like a young man, but for me he will always be my BOY! my first born Luigi... I used here Crate Papers, DCWV die cut pps from Dra. Chiqui, AC Thickers chipboard shapes, K and Company paper flowers, buttons, baker's thread, Webster Pages mini cards, metal embies, MM Tiny Alphas, blings, chipboard word and Tatttered Angel glimmer mist.

This is my take for Scrap, Inspire, Create's monthly challenge. They called for a man, boy, male page with a twist on using chipboard embies. I bought this scraps of chipboard words from my friend Dra. Rita long time ago. Since its kraft in color, I just sprayed it with blue glimmer mist and used foam tapes to give it a depth effect. Love the effect of the glimmer mist.

I'll definitely miss scrapping when my review class starts! And that's my greatest fear for now, having no time to scrap... OMG!

Friends Forever!

I was home for more than a week now... after that depressing flu, I had to stay at home to take care of my baby boy Lorenzo. He had fever for three days and now he's coughing like a dog. But he's a lot better now, that's why I have my "ME" time to surf, FB and scrap, of course.

I miss scrapping with sketches and so I went to see the latest at Creative Scrappers. Then I hopped over at Method Playground for their latest challenge. The challenge was to use edge punchers and here are two pages I made for that challenge. Used same photos which I'm planning to give to my childhood girlfriends Marife and Tinay...

Friends for Keeps... Marife was my classmate way back pre-school days at the Maquiling School in UPLB, so you can imagine the longest time we had spent together. I love you Fe! I used here Basic Grey Aged and Confused-Sublime Collection pps, KI pps and lace paper, October Afternoon pps, cardstocks, local blings, ribbons, Prima flowers, Petaloo Flora Doodles flowers with blings, Doodlebug cardstock letter stickers, MM Tiny Alphas, and epoxy buttons.

Friends for Life... Tinay is my chinese-blood highschool barkada who laughs contagiously silly, there was never a dull moment with her and I love her for that! I used here MM Passport pps, MM pps, ribbon, K and Company paper flowers, Prima flowers, buttons, baker's thread from Dra. Chiqui, cardstock, AAS gromets and foamed letters, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, Chatterbox chipboard embies, Jillibeans Soup journaling sprout, and silk leaves.

Feels so good to finish something after a long time of being idle, specially when Mr. Mojo works with you hand in hand. I'm happy that I'm back on my feet again!

Thanks for looking!

I missed posting this Mom's Day layout for my Mom, yay! Let me share this even thou its a month late...

Adore You...this title fits perfectly because my Mom's real name is Adoracion. With her full and happy life, she only deserves to be praised and adored. I used here Prima pps, epoxy sticker, blings and flowers, October Afternoon pps, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, mini metal frame, ribbon, silk leaves and Bangkok flowers.

I'm slowly getting back to my old self... and I'm loving it! Thanks for looking as always...

... Rinda!

I just wanna share a few pages I made before I got sick... I made this one for a dear friend Rinda. She's an officemate of mine during my PCARRD days and now she and her family stays in Canada. I made this page for the Methods Playground scraplift challenge this month, but since I was sick, I didn't make it to the deadline.

Life is Good... and its written all over her face! I'm so happy to be reconnected with my friend Rinda, after so many years our friendship is still here to stay. I used here Prima Angelique Collections-Wings pps, epoxy sticker and flowers, MM Noteworthy page, AAS bling brads, blings, foamed flowers, cardstocks, silk leaves, and ribbon lace.

Feeling a lot better now! This bug caught all of us and now, my little Chuy is sniffing after school. I just hope this end sooo soon. TFL!

SY6: Oh the Place You'll Go...

You Know You're in Baguio When... Baguio is always my second home! I love smell of the pine trees, the cold weather, the taste of inihaw na mais, strawberries and a lot more. I used here October Afternoon pps, Sassafras cardstock sticker, AC Thickers foam stickers, MM letter stickers, Prima flowers, cardstock, lace, AAS Dimension stickers and glittered glue.

Okay, I'm still sick! and I am getting BORED lying in bed all the time. I have this terrible cough and my body aches everywhere, its FLU fever this time of the year! Its been almost 5 days and I still feel weak. I hope to get better in the coming days so I can scrap and do all my mommy duties. I even have a college reunion tomorrow, which I'm afraid I cannot attend to. I miss the action...

... Blessed!

Yummy Prima flowers are finally here!

Been so blessed to have a very generous Auntie in the States! She, my Uncle Bill and my cousins are very supportive on every craft I venture. I finally have a MM precision paper trimmer with a self-sharpening blade, been dreaming to have this a long time ago. And I have a new Coach bag, wooooot! They send me these and lot for my two boys...

Wish to THANK my family in US for all the goodies, my son Luigi for understanding that sometimes I will not be there because I will be busy soon, my family and husband for the encouragement and more support in this new field I chose. I'm happy to see my professor Sir Bats after two months of summer vacation, I missed him for sure.

Going on with life... I'm a little hyper this week! I went to my school last Monday to enroll my last 12 units, only to find out that I have enough to finally get my board exam. So all the time I was relaxing and vacationing, and planning the coming 5 months of my life, everything just POPPED UP and needs to fast track the rest of my teaching plans. Now I have to rush things to complete my requirements, apply for the board and REVIEW! Easy to say but quite hard to do. But I realized something in the middle of all these, I am still blessed because good things are coming on my way (just a little bit fast!).
