BZ.

OKay, I'm busy this past few days. I don't scrap for more than a week already, I have to shoot but I don't even touch my camera after my Mom's birthday last Friday. I feel like I'm always on a run. I am on a Mommy mode, I guess!... grocery rush for kid's baon, bring little Lorenzo to his Pedia for an ear check-up, cook dinner, do the laundry and a lot more.

I need a ME time again... please!

SY12: Pet Peeves

Peeves are the things that annoys or bugs us, things that we don't like or maybe hate. Each of us have these, right? So what's yours?...

Oh No!... I hate gray hair popping up, loud persons with a loud attitude, ice cream on a bun, dirty bathrooms and cooking! I know I have to adjust specially on cooking, ok I'm trying my best. I used here cardstocks, MM scallop circle pps, old book page, Maya Road chipboard girl, Tim Holtz crackle paint, K & Co. tags to go, sassafras tag, Prima flowers, fibers, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, AAS chipboard letters, AC Thickers foamed letters, Kaisercraft acrylic paint, and WRMK precious metal hardware photo corners.

This is my last layout for the May-July term at Scrap Yourself and I'd finished 6 layouts all about myself. I am still officially with SY for another term, YeHeyyyy! and I would like to thank Kristine for considering me. There'll be some changes in our blog posts and challenges but I'm sure it will continue to be FUN and EXCITING. So hope to see you again at Scrap Yourself!

Thanks for looking as always!

It's a GREAT Monday!

Thinking positive and a sunny attitude really make wonders... I have a positive mind set for this week since last week was totally depressing! Although I woke up a little late this morning, I started right away with household chores and Mommy duties. Just as Lorenzo left for school and I was left with peace and quiet, I opened my mail and found some good news from Scrap Yourself. Finished a few touches on my recent pages, organized my albums and now, cleared my working table. Then, I decided to blog hop to look for new challenges, new inspirations and pages. I was surprised to know that I won the Challenge 70 at Method Playground...

My two FRIENDS layouts won their border challenge. Wish to acknowledge Creative Scrapper's sketch I used for the "Friends for Keeps". Thank you Method Playground ladies for the generous RAK.

I wish that this week will continue to be OKAY, no stress, no worries... TFL!

SY's Design Team Call...

Scrap Yourself is looking for 6 members to join the list of designers for July 1 to October 31, 2010 term. If you are interested to join our team, please head on to our blog and find the requirements and details here.

Time flies sooo fast and now I'm down to my last challenge at Scrap Yourself. Since I seldom scrap about myself, the 3 months and 6 page-assignments were really something to be missed.

Hope to catch you again at Scrap Yourself! Have a safe Tuesday everyone... TFL!

Guestbook!

Yvette's guestbook was the old All About Scrapbooking brown covered 8x11 non-page protector album. We just scrapped on one corner of the page and the rest of the area will be used for wishes and greetings for the debutante. I just loved the simplicity of her idea.

Going Multiple...

I have been into scrapbooking service since 2008. Made a few albums for friends and other clients and most them were RUSH! Two weeks ago, I helped my friend Yvette scrapped her cousin's debut scrapbook and guestbook. As expected, pictures were pretty plenty and should be cropped. Thanks to the edge punchers, journaling circles and more nice paper prints, it made my job a lot easier. I wish to share some of my multi-picture layouts (of course, with the permission of the owner!) and Yvette...

I used here K and Company pps, Cosmo Cricket pps, Basic Grey pps, Scenic Route pps, My Little Yellow Bicycle pps, WRMK pps, cardstocks, ribbons, laces, buttons, Prima flowers, Jillibeans Journaling Sprouts, Jenni Bowlin scalloped notecards, Basic grey tags, Tim Holtz Tickets, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, K and Company 3D word and embossed stickers, Cosmo Cricket mini letters and chipboard.

Project YVETTE is finally over: 16 pages of 8x11 guestbook and 55 pages of 12x12 scrapbook pages in about two weeks time! WHEWWW! I think I have to CHILL now... Thanks for looking!

SY10: Childhood Memories

Memories are treasures of our lifetime and it is kept in our minds and thru scrapbooking. I am fortunate to have lots of them! I am happy to grow up to have a complete family and close relatives, and I owe it to them for such wonderful time of growing up and living life. This weeks challenge at Scrap Yourself is about Childhood Memories, join us and get the chance to win. Here's my page...

Remember... I missed my Dad when I was working on this page. He was such a big part of my life although he only lived for 62 years. I can remember how my Mom took care of me, and now she's still doing the same for my own kids. Being an only girl in our family gave me lots of privileges, love and attention. And I am just happy for everything! I used here Webster Pages pps, MM Noteworthy page and gem brads, cardstock, foamed flowers, Prima flowers, silk leaves, AAS bling brads, chipboard word, Tattered Angel glimmer mist and Fancy Pants pin.

Life is slowing down a bit. Thanks for looking as always!

Toy Story and Lorenzo's Story!

His passion for cartoons was just like any other child.. first he loved Barney, the purple dino. Then comes silly Mr. Bean, partners Tom and Jerry was an old time fave (even the old ones love it too!), then comes the talking Cars and now Toy Story. Even before Toy Story 3 was out, Lorenzo fell in love it already. I don't know what's with him that he even asked his Daddy to buy him stuffed toys of Buzz, Andy and the horse. Buzz and Andy became his constant friends. He would pile up our pillows and laid them side by side so they get to watch TV with him daw. And sometimes, these stuffed babies would be his bedmates. Funny Lorenzo, but that's his stories! Ok but we haven't watched TS3 yet because its long tests week now... soon I promise.

Then lets wait 'til his next playmate. TFL!

... and the Latest!

Hello Everyone! Can't believe its less than six months before Christmas time again!

My world is on a run, although I stay at home most of the time this days, I'm a BBbbzzzzz Mama. Thank God that flu fever is finally over in our household. It's birthday month for both the Virtucio's and Alicbusan's... 5th Louie, DK and Uncle Totoy (+), 9th Uncle Eddie, 23rd my Mom, 26th Auntie Letty (+), and 31st my cousin Dra. Ellen Vivo. Did I miss anyone? Surely, this month will be full of family gatherings.

I'm now scrapping for a friend in Canada, working on the debut of her princess. This is what's keeping me up this days, plus I'm trying to regularly attend the free aerobics every Saturday at UPLB Baker Hall with my scrappy girlfriends Ate Liezl, Doc Rita, Doc Chiqui, Nanay Cors and Lola Ytet. I don't have plans on getting back my old waistline, I just wanna stay fit and health specially that Cholesterol is on a heavy guarding. Then, I had a MILIA removed on the corner of my right eye last Saturday. It looks like a white head but actually its a cyst.

Finally, Scrap Yourself's Challenge 10 will be up on Wednesday and its about Childhood Memories. I had lots of them and majority are happy ones! I have to praise my parents for giving us a happy life. It may not be that luxurious but it was a comfortable and a happy childhood. Now that I am also a Mom, I TRY to share and give the same experience to my kids like my parents did to me and my 2 brothers. Let's see what my co-DTs have to share on Wednesday.... join us at Scrap Yourself!

Enjoy the coming week, happy Scrapping! TFL!
