Sketchabilities #47!

Here's another great sketch from Sketchabilities! Join us and visit our gallery here. Our sponsor for this month is We Scrap Kits and they're giving away a fabulous kit to play! Here's my page for this sketch...

At Last... My two boys graduated on the same day, March 31 of this year. Lorenzo graduated in Pre-school, while Luigi graduated in Highschool both at Morning Star Montessori School. While I attended my first graduation ceremony at St. Bridgette International School. I used here Webster's Pages pps and buttons, cardstocks, Prima flowers, Kaisercraft blings, AAS wire, laces, Tim Holtz's grungeboard shapes and distress ink, Dusty Attic chipboard fence, Adirondack acrylic paint dabber, and silk leaves.

I've been SOOooo busy playing with ribbons and cloth this past few days! I just opened an online shop and I named it SAM'S Ribbons. At first, I want to make flowers for scrapbooking embies, and now I ended up making hair accessories for babies and mommies as well. Hope to find time to share them here in my blog... promise!

Happy crafting peeps! TFL!

Flowers and Bows

After spending some time watching flower making in You Tube, I wanted to create my own line of flowers for scrapbooking. We all know that these embellishments are quite expensive and are not always available. But after gathering all my rolls of ribbons and started playing with them, I ended up making huge ones that are not appropriate for a layout. Hmmmm... now comes another thought of creating, thought of making some hair ornaments just like my old business when I was in college. Here's what I came up to...

I used here double-sided wired ribbons and grossgrained ribbons, my grandma's old zippers, threads, glue sticks and elastic headbands.

I just love them all! Happy creating! TFL!

Lorenzo's 7th Birthday Layouts!

I finally had the time to scrap a lot of Lorenzo's photos... been wanting to create an album for his 7th birthday celebration. Here are some of the pages I made, some were already posted before and some are not yet ready for uploading, SORRY! But I wish to share them with you...

Most of the pages, I used My Little Yellow Bicycle pps, October Afternoon pps, Dream Street pps, Scenic Route pps, DCWV and Bazzill cardstocks, Prima flowers, AAS covered buttons, puffy stickers, chipboard shapes, native twine, baker's twine, glittered glue, glimmer mists, buttons, laces and ribbons, Jillibean Soup journaling sprouts, and a lot more goodies

I'm feeling a lot better now, been down with slight fever and stomach ache since last weekend. Hoping to be back to my normal self in a few days... to be SCRAPPING again!

Thanks for looking, as always!

Sketchabilities #46!

Weather in the Phils. is SOOooo HOT! It has been two weeks since summer started and its getting terrible each day. What is the best way to cool down the temp? Here's what I discovered...

Foursome... Frozen YOGURT is IN this days and its best when mixed with fruits, nuts and candies. Had a little time out with good friends and had yogurt for dessert at SM City Calamba. I used here Scenic Router blue grid paper and pps, cardstock, AAS wire and fabric covered brads, glittered glue, Prima flowers and MM mini brads.

Last week was a total turn around on my teaching career, when the school I was working gave me a teaching load that I cannot perform. It was a "take it or leave it" situation which gives me this huge question mark on my mind... It was HARD as they said, but NO! I made it easier for you to kick me off and take the "leave it" part. On the brighter side of life, I have been traveling this past few days. Spending lost time with my kids and my new baby Richie, summer is still ON! And I am still thrilled for it!

I'm back to scrapping... TFL!
