2017 Project Life

It's the Christmas Holidays... but it does not feel like a holiday! It has been raining since three days ago and we cannot even go out.

I spend the whole day facing my little laptop. First, I studied my lectures and made handouts for the coming midterms. Then, I made my OJT report using a new template. I cleaned up my files on my phone and eventually,  my 2018 picture folders on my storage. And lastly, I blogged!

Its time for my Project Life and 2017 was super late... here goes!

2017 Project Life... I used all my old stash. The most striking part here was I used diecuts for the months of the year. Life was really good and the year was full of happy memories, as ever.

Thanks for looking!

@ 50!

I turned 50 last week... 50 years of happiness, challenges, hardwork, accomplishments, contentment and just everything! 21 years were spent studying, 26 years were building a family, 18 years of Scrapbooking, 11 years of doing business and 9 years of teaching.

And so, its time to give back the blessings through sharing and celebrating my happy 50 years... and a lot more to count! I did all the preparations from making the invites, sewing the eyes of the owls down to the menu selection. I wanted to do a lot more, but time did not permit me.

Every celebration highlights food... I had Spice Jar to cater the appetizer bar. There were different kinds of cheeses, cured meat, pickles, nuts, buscuits and bread. The dessert bar was made by Pola, an HRM student of our school. We had mango and strawberry cream, chocolate cake pops, cookie-fruit cake from a cousin-pastry chef and my special carrot bunt birthday cake. The main course were home made cooking by my Mom and son, Luigi. We had fresh lumpiang ubod, chicken tropical, pork caldereta, beef with brocolli, fried chicken wings and fish fillet with choices of dip, tartar, barbecue sauce and tomato catsup, japchai and chicken pesto pastas. And the fun begun!

Family and friends came to celebrate with me. Friends and bestfriends from certain phases of my life all came. Marife, a childhood friend way back pre-school and godmother of my first born. Mae, my confidante, cross stitching buddy and godmother of my second child. Timi, my crafting and shopping buddy. I love them all! My childhood friends while we were still living in our ancestral home in Crossing. My GE family who were very supportive at work and play. My cousins, Janice, Maan and Mayee who helped me thru all my planning. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My cousins Janice and Maan, gave me Tiger Haworthia plants as my party give aways. I also sewed 40 pieces of stuffered owls, which I will share soon. Thanks to them!

It has been a week since I turned 50... but the love and thoughtfulness of my family and friends are still pouring.

Best of all, I THANK the Good Lord for giving all these blessings to me. Without his love and guiding hands, I will not be here. Now my wish from Him, is another 50 years of life, hahaha! Honestly, I love my life! We make our own lives, but mine is simply tailored for me... I am an obedient daughter, a spoiled sister, a happy wife, a spoiler mother, a hoarder-crafter, a cool teacher, a leader and a happy child of God.

Thank you Lord for the 50 years!

TFL!
