Scrapping with the Kids...

Chuy introduced me to his classmates today... it's a daily activity in the class called "Meet my Parents". I taught them how to scrap! I used an 8x8 tile for the base, some papers and embellishments. Teacher Helga, Ate Sara and Lola Nitz helped me play with the kids...

Sharing some Layouts...

I don't scrap much these days... maybe because I'm so tired na by the time I get home from school, yes until now hindi pa rin nagpapa-iwan si Chuy sa school! Scrappin' Mom's Idol is the only challenge I'm in right now and pretty much enjoying every week. I just thought of sharing some more of DK's pages...

Oh Boy!
Here's a layout inspired from the Singapore flag. As you can see the structure of my layout is patterned from the flag, like the red top area and the white part is in the bottom, the little moon and 5 stars on the top right part of picture. I used here red cardstock, DCWV pps, K and Co. lace cardstock, Pebeo paint, star buttons, moon charm, corrugated board, DMC threads, BG chipboard letters, MM tiny alphas, felt, tape measure ribbon from Timi, MM paint and Colorbox chalk ink.

Where there is Love, there is Life...
I just love this close up shot of DK! I used here Autumn Leaves pps, cardstocks, Prima flowers, jeweled and heart gromments, flower ribbon, Colorbox chalk ink, and glittered glue.

Our Family
I made this layout yesterday, its from a sketch created by Susan Longman. I used here Miss Elizabeth's pps, Fancy Pants felt shapes, MM glittered diecut journal spot, Prima light blue flowers, Stazz on brown ink, glittered glue, my handmade flowers made from corrugated board, pps, buttons, DMC threads and silk leaves, cardstock for my titles and Colorbox chalk ink. I just love the effects of layering, a technique requirement from Idol challenge this week.

Thanks for looking everyone!

Game On Prize...

Chuy doesn't have school last Friday, so I finally had time to go to the post office to check my mails. There are two post offices in Los Banos, one beside the Municipal Office and the main "daw" is in UPLB Campus. Mail system here in Los Banos is quite poor and sometimes you really have to pay them a visit to personally check your mails. And finally, I got this! My prize from Mystical Scrapbooks, Australia for the Game On challenge...

Scrappin' Kids' "Mini Me" September

I Adore You
"Enzo is one of my miracles in life...
after ten years of waiting and 2 unfortunate pregnancies,
we were blessed to have another bundle of joy.
And as he grow up, I see so much of myself in this little boy..."

Challenge #12 is up at the Scrappin' Kids' Blog
Our layout challenge this month is to scrap
about that particular photo of your little one
that reminds you of yourself!!
Scrap that photo now and win yummy prizes.

What a Week!

Monday wasn't a good start of week for me... after a short trip to Liliw, Laguna, we went straight to the hospital because Chuy was severely vomitting. I know he will be admitted again, but nothing too serious this time. I was just worried his Pedia might keep us long in the hospital, buti na lang Chuy got a lot better after a day. Those two nights in the hospital were very stressful for me! Aside from taking care of my little buddy, my head was whirling with so many thoughts and worries... I haven't done my entry for the IDOL!

On the lighter side, this surprise made my day yesterday! This is my yummy prize from Cookie's Colour Challenge in Mystical Scrapbooks. Thank you so much Cookie...

Now I'm off to finish my deadlines... TFL!
