Joined an Online Crop...

Yup! In the middle of my cramming time in school and teaching load, I managed to do a little scrapping. Eventually, to clear my mind and start anew. Here are two sketches from pagemaps and my version of them...

Fun... Catherine's grand time at the Whalers Village in Hawaii. I used here DCWV pps and cardstocks, Bangkok flowers, Mulberry flowers, and AC journaling stickers.

Threesome... Catherine with her 2 other cousins, having a threesome moment! I used here DCWV pps and cardstocks, Maya Road mist, native twine and Jillibean journaling sprout.

I finally finished my first trimester in MBA, really HARD and stressful, and I can't believe I was able to finished it along with tons of paper requirements. I promise myself to unwind for the coming 2 weeks. But it seems like I am still loaded with other things-- ribbons orders, scrap service to deliver, mini albums and grades! Just taking it slow for now and giving myself some most needed rest.

Will be back for more layouts to share... promise! Thanks for looking peeps!

Project Katherine: Book 4

I can't believe I only blogged twice this month! beginning and end of this month only. Sorry for being a bad blogger and quite a bad scrapper too. As usual, BUUSSSSYYYY! Busy with school and work at the same time. But I'm glad I'm finally adjusted with my Saturday class with all the oral and written reports, things are finally moving. Got 7 more weeks to go and my 1st sem in grad school will be over. Crossing my fingers for my grades, I hope I pass my 9 initial units.

Finally had 2 vacation days from work, there was a storm and school in all levels were suspended in the province of Laguna. Here's catching up with my scrap service...

Happy Scrapping! Hope you catch that MOJO really soon.
Thanks for looking as always!

Ready to Go!

I spent the whole week going back at my pages, doing the finishing touches and making the titles. Finally, I'm DONE with Project Katherine's 3rd Set of Scraps! Started working on these mid September of last year and now, finished 135 pages all in all.

Now my head is whirling with other things to do... and at the same time, Lorenzo will be celebrating his 8th Birthday this coming week. We can not leave because of Luigi's school commitments, so instead, we'll be partying here at home. I only got a week to plan and its making me CRAZY!

Now I'm OFF to some Girly time out! Going to scrap the rest of the day with my girlfriends and this time, will catch up with my boys pages. Thanks for looking and Happy Weekend!

Halfway DONE!

Happy New Year everyone!
I started the first day of the year just SCRAPPING the whole day! I didn't feel like celebrating much because Hubby left for work that same afternoon. So I thought I just need to stay home too to nurse my little boy having asthma attacks. Moving on with my scrap service, I'm on pocket #36 today! So this means I have 34 pockets more to play with, YaHOooooo! Here's sharing a few of my pages for this new year...

Happiness is like a Butterfly...I love the simplicity of this multiphoto layout, got so inspired from Piradee Talvanna's pages and how she decorated them with buttons and butterflies. I used here cardstocks, Rouge de Garance pps, carstock stickers, Jillibeans Soup journaling sprouts, Prima butterfly, Memory Mists and Ranger distress inks.

Houston, Texas... Katherine's state visit to Texas. I used here Basic Grey and 7 Gypsies papers, cardstocks, Jillibean Soup journaling sprouts, Prima notecard and flowers, AC Thickers foam shapes stickers, buttons, native twine and AAC chipboard embies.

I am getting to be an OC-OC this days! Spending so much time roaming around to keep things organize around my house, specially in my little scrap corner. Yesterday, just as I jumped out of bed I headed on to my closet and organized my hanged blouses according to color. Then today, I started writing on my new Poplar Starbucks 2012 Planner, just so worried that my memories will jump out of my mind, hahah! My Project Life will not be coming so soon, so just to keep me dated with what I will be putting on that much-awaited album. I believe 2012 will be a promising year for me and my family (specially to my Hubby!), having a POSITIVE mind in spite the daily challenges is what's keeping me UP. Still perfecting the attitude of maximizing things and time because I realized that LIFE is SO short and there's no turning back.

GREAT! Have a great weekend peeps and thanks for always looking!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I hope my Holiday greeting is not yet late! Sorry but I totally forgot... anyway, I posted it on my facebook, I just forgot to blog it! So from my family to yours... Dodo, Luigi, Lorenzo and I would STILL want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2012!

I'm on a two-week vacation from school, but its only now that I finally get to sit on my scrap table and WORK! I'm on an exclusive contract for scrap service for the coming months of my life. You may think that it will be kinda hard, but for me its a BREATHER for my daily routine. I mean, I just love LIFE, and this is my life. Scrapbooking is still here to stay with me.

This past few nights, just before I go to bed, there are some minutes of reminiscing how the year came up with me. I hope to blog it soon before I say my final goodbye to 2011. Okay that's it, have to go back to work for more, more pages!

TFL as always!

Work!

A box came in this morning! Came from a very generous client from USA who send a lot flowers, embellishments and journaling tags. Now I can't wait to scrap again!

And here is my work part, I need to create an estimated 148 pages for this set of scrap service. Wow, that's a lot of happy scrapping! Hahaha!

I got an early birthday celebration with my wonderful Scrapaholic family! Along with another celebrant, Nanay Cors and I decided to do a Chinese-Field Trip birthday celebration last Wednesday. The first stop was at the Dapitan Arcade in Manila, we went shopping for ceramics, leather organizers, baskets and Christmas decors. Then the next stop was at Lasting Impression, a one-stop scrapbook store in San Juan. Lunch was at North Park followed by Mobler Store where they got me this great floor lamp which is intended for my scrap area. I love it, thanks mga Lola! And the last and longest stop was at the Noel Bazaar at the World Trade Center. We were out for about 15 hours loaded with shopping, laughing, chatting and girl bonding. We just missed Ytet and Helga!

I'm still working on my handmade Christmas presents, still a lot of boxes to wrap. I'm planning to put up my tree tonight, so wish me luck! School is just doing great and so are my 2 boys. Life is so good today!

Thanks for looking peeps!

Disney Pages!

I am so excited to share these Disneyland pages which I did for service. I wanted to use bright and happy colors here which I don't normally do, hehehe! I wanted to create a cheerful mood to match my clients' cruising experience. I just hope I did justice to these set of photos, here it goes...

I can say that my sembreak from teaching was spent well and I'm so glad to have accomplished a lot of tasks in three weeks. I was able to finish Katherine's 2nd batch of photos, organized my scrap space again and finally found a good storage for my papers, cleaned and sorted Lorenzo's little play area and Luigi's room upstairs. Now my house is ready for the Christmas season, this is my last assignment before 2nd semester starts in a week. Crossing my fingers to accomplish them all!

We had another family bonding since Friday, my sister-in-law's family were here in Laguna! And so was Hayk, she came home from Dubai and stayed with us for a couple of days...

It's SemBREAK!

Actually, my last day at work was last October 21 and I was then officially on vacation for almost 4 weeks... GREAT! I've been scrapping since then, finishing a set of photos for a friend in USA. I noticed Lorenzo's play area since its just across my working table, it was a TOTAL MESS! Since Shoemart was on sale last weekend, I went on a short shopping trip and found this little shelf for his Transformer robots and these white plastic baskets for his numerous toys. Yup, my cleaning and moving around my little house was not yet done, and I'm clearing up to give some space for Christmas!

Finally finished 43 pages as of today... 12 more to GO! and this box is ready to GO!

I need to maximize the 2 weeks vacation left before 2nd Sem starts. I have to start making my Christmas projects so I won't run out of time again. I'm excited to go back to school, just wondering what my teaching load will be? Tomorrow is All Saints Day here in the Phils, people will all be out in the cemeteries. I'm gonna visit my Dad, my lola and uncles, and of course, my angel Maxine.

Thanks for looking and happy Sembreak! Hahaha!

Project: Katherine Lorenzo Hayes

... She's the beautiful daughter of an old friend Cecille, who stays in Georgia, America. She looks exactly like her Mom, I can say. A few weeks ago, my friend Cecille asked me to scrap her daughter's photos and of course, its my pleasure to do it! And just last Thursday, a large box from Fedex came loaded with Prima flowers and Tim Holtz's inks, and of course the PHOTOS to play with. Since my weekend starts on a Friday, I instantly played and created 12 pages over Saturday and Sunday. Let me share some of my favorite pages...

Sweet Bliss...I used here My Mind's Eye and October Afternoon pps, Prima flowers and puffy sticker, blings, AAS ceramic rosettes and buttons, native twine, ribbon, Memories Mists, Tsukineko brilliance inks and Tim Holtz distress inks.

Grade 3...I used here Prima pps and flowers, Scenic Route pps, AAS felt, gelli brads and buttons, baker's twine and Jillibeans Soup journaling sprouts.

Music is the Speech of Angels...I used here Scenic Route pps, Making Memories pps, Prima flowers, carstocks and corrugated board, blings, fibers, button, Maya Road pin, Tsukineko inks, Tim Holtz distress inks and Memories Mists.

Paris... I used here Making Memories PPs, carstocks and assorted pps which I got from my old stash, EK-Jolee's stickers, Prima flowers, Tim Holtz metal embies and distress inks, AAS brads and chipboards, native twine, Tsukineko brilliance inks, Memories Mist and Tattered Angels glimmer mist. I did a lot of misting, masking, distressing and stamping here. I'm loving all the process of doing it, made me opened my dusty boxes of stamps and inks.

My weekend passed by happily creating and scrapping to the max! Now I have to tell my hands to STOP! because its study day once again and I have one more lecture day tomorrow. Hahahaha! Some people may think that I am one crazy creature spending much time on this hobby, but may I ask you... DO YOU REALLY KNOW HOW TO CREATE? OR JUST FIND YOUR PASSION? Stop picking on us scrapbookers, I bet you don't even know how to scrap? Hahaha!

Okay, okay, its a Monday! And I promise to be gentle and happy through out the week. I hope my sharing will put on your thinking caps and start to scrapping again. Thanks peeps for always dropping by my blog.

TFL :)
