Done with Junior High School

I would like to share my joy for this family milestone.

Lorenzo graduated in Junior High last July 16, 2021 from Morning Star Montessori School in Los BaƱos. He received a Loyalty Award for that because he started schooling there since Pre-School. Hats off to his teachers for patiently guiding and teaching him... Teacher Helga, Teacher Loise, Teacher Greg, Teacher Neil and Teacher Bernie. An unexpected Academic Achiever's Award is a bonus for all his hard work, too. Thank you MSMSI and to his wonderful educators!

Junior High School... I will never miss a layout for this milestone! I just wish his Daddy is still around to see his achievements and happiness. Chuy experienced a roller coaster ride of adjustments during this highschool days. He was in Grade 8 when we left for the US for a month of vacation, he admitted that he had a hard time catching up with his lessons and exams. (We will not do this again, promise anak!) His Grade 9 was shortly cut off because of the pandemic and eventually continued home schooling for Grade 10. I would occasionally receive text messages from his teachers, reminding him of his submissions and other deadlines. Thank God, you were able to surpassed all these challenges anak! I used here assorted PPs, AC cardstock, washi tape, Prima flower, paper flowers from Bangkok, diecut flowers from old pages of a book, buttons, baker's twine, DMC threads, Simple Story stickers and cut outs,  and pearls.

Let's have more memory making and keeping! TFL!

2020 Project Life!

My 2020 Project Life is the most saddest and challenging year ever since I started making PL in 2012. Aside from the unexpected passing of my dear Hubby, this year marked the start of the COVID Pandemic. Practically, everything has changed and life started to be different... but life must go on and so was Project Life.

And so, here was how we captured 2020!

Well, nothing much to capture but I am just happy to document it. I used here assorted patterned papers, Simple Stories' Daily Grind kit, buttons, paper flowers, blings, and brad. Hoping the coming PL years will be pleasant and slowly returning to our old lives.

TFL and happy scrapping!

Work and Play pages of Georgina!

I have so much to blog and still finding time to upload them. This time, its Georgina's turn to show her pages. This is actually her 7-8th scrapbook album which I am continuously making, remember she just turned 8 this year... means more memory making to scrap!

WORK Layouts. These are Georgina's school pages. I called it work because school is really work mode for kids.  Grades school is very challenging this days because of the new norm in learning. Kids have so much to adjust from the face to face classes to the use of different online mediums.  Here are some of my favorite pages of her school moments...

Summer School Days!

Grade One

Grade One Class Picture and ID Card

Buwan ng Wika

Field Trip: The Dessert Museum

Christmas Party in the School

Online Learning

PLAY Layouts. And this is what Georgina loves doing! She got to experience outdoors like the beach and summer activities. And because of the pandemic, she has to stay at home and gets to make her own happiness. Here goes her happy pages...

Family Outing in the Beach

Summer @ Mc Donalds

Meeting Bumble Bee

Happy Birthday Cat-cat!

No Wheels!

Turning 7 Years Old

A Year to Remember

Create

Pizza and Fries

Easter Egg Making

OOTD & Play

I used here assorted lines of patterned papers, cardstocks, button, brads, DMC threads, flowers, chipboard titles and letters, Thickers letters and washi tapes.

Hope to inspire more scrapbookers to come and scrap again!

Christmas in July

I am sharing 2 more layouts I got inspired from a lift from the LB Scrapaholics. This was our first Christmas without my husband. But as they say, life should go on and should not be spent meaningless. 2020 Christmas was celebrated quietly and simple, and with just the three of us with my Mom.

Merry Christmas 2020, and Peace and Joy 2020... I made 2 separate layouts for Luigi and Lorenzo, since they have separate albums. I used here assorted Christmas cardstock and papers, native twine, buttons, wooden clips, brads, eyelets, 3D and epoxy stickers, assorted AC Thickers letter stickers, Jillibeans round tag and DMC threads.

And so, this is Christmas made in July! I can't wait for the weekend. I can't wait to mess up scraproom, busy my scissors and do more creating!

Colorful Scraps! Part 2...

I am sooo in the mood to scrap!

Here are another version of colorful scrap pages...

Love You 2... is another page for Luigi. I am just enjoying life with them and only with them! I used here assorted patterned papers of Simple Stories, DMC threads, buttons, My Mind's Eye layered stickers, foam letters, washi tapes and Tim Holtz's cardstock strip stickers.

Love You Forever... Is for Chuy. I was so happy with the rainbow colors which fits the word FOREVER! I used here again assorted patterned papers, Simple Stories' Daily Grind paper pack, DMC threads, buttons, fibers, chipboard letters, assorted stickers, flowers, a brad and Tim Holtz cardstock strip stickers.

I guess my weekend was well spent again and equally balanced with work and play. Brought home some work, my usual weekend cleaning was done and cooked again chicken lasagna for my boys. I watched 3 movies over the weekend, which I am afraid to be hocked up on long TV hours. My scraproom was messed up on Saturday but now cleaned Sunday night. I am just excited to create more and more... so til the next weekend!
