Give Yourself...

Hello Everyone! It's Monday and its Scrap Yourself reveal for me again. Do visit us daily in our blog because we have lots of ideas and inspirations to keep you creating and scrapping.

Give Yourself... This photo was taken at the Japanese Garden in Caliraya, Laguna, Holy Thursday of last year. It was a time for meditation and thinking about what I want to happen in my life. Then I thought that I should believe in myself first and I should give myself more love, dream and time and to make things possible! I used here Webster's Pages -Sweet as Cherry Pie, Set the Table and Magical Wishes, Magical Life, lace, abaca twine, Prima flowers, MM gem brad, foam flowers, Kaisercraft's pearls, Tattered Angel marshmallow glimmer mist and Nicole nostalgic shapes.

Last week was a little depressing for us Filipinos because of the hostage taking and a lot of national issues, I wish this new week will be a lot better. I'm starting it up with a-Mommy's day OUT with my fellow Scrapaholics, we are going to celebrate Ate Liezl's birthday somewhere south of Laguna. Today is a holiday and the kids are staying home with their Dad... wish the house is still up when I get home tonight.

Have a great week ahead and TFL!

My Little Shoebox pages...

Good Monday Morning Everyone... I hope you had a great weekend just like me! Well, I had FUN playing with the rest of My Little Shoebox papers. I only have a few pieces of the Flying High, All a Flutter and Away We Go lines, but it went a long way and a lot of scrapping fun for me. Although I used cardstocks mostly as my base paper, I tried to finger paint and used glimmer mist to match the playful theme of the papers. I scrapped again my new niece Lucia and my nephew Quinn, and of course Garrie Girl and my brat boy Lorenzo.

Here are my "My Little Shoebox" pages!

Lucia Jean... She's the youngest among my niece and nephews at the moment, isn't she a darling?! I used here DCWV cardstock, MLS pps- Sky's the Limit's Nice to See You, All a Flutter's Flutterby and Flying High's Bird's Eye View pps, Prima flower, MM gem brad, K & Company tags to go, Colorbox tansparent letter stickers, Kaisercraft crafter's acrylic paint, glittered glue and chipboard frame from Ytet.

Blessing... My cousin Donna and her youngest baby Lucia. I used here DCWV cardstock, MLS pps- All a Flutter's Flutterby and Wings and Things pps, AAS wire, Kasiercraft crafter's acrylic paint, Tattered Angel marshmallow glimmer mist, glittered glue and Elle's Studio's So In Love tag.

I find it amazing, having created 6 layouts plus 2 on my older post and 1 more which I cannot reveal right now, from about 10 playful pages of pattered papers. I still have some leftovers and a pending online order for more! hahaha! I love the new lines Sunday Market, Summer Breeze and Green, wish we'll have it soon here in the Philippines.

I am anticipating another hectic week since I'm back to another round of scrap service. Count down starts for the coming of my brother, he'll be home soon and the boys are pretty excited again. I hope everything will be okay for the rest of the week, that goes the same with all of US! Be safe now...

Thanks for looking!

At Play with MLS!

I had a great day today just playing with My Little Shoebox papers. I only have a few but it went thru a loonnnggg way I tell you, and it was FUN! I finally get to scrap some personal photos... giving myself a little space to breath after more than a month long of doing scrap service. And now, I am excited to join this month's challenge at MLS, it's a sketch and product challenge. Here's what I came up with...

Fish Feeding... We've been visiting Nuvali, Sta. Rosa for a few times but this was the first time Lorenzo get to feed the Koi. He was sooo excited, he bought about 4-5 packs of fish food. I used here My Little Shoebox papers (Flying High's Bird's Eye View and Mile High, All a Flutter's Wings and Things), Prima blings and pearl, baker's twine, Tim Holtz journaling ticket, AC Thickers chipboard letter, Colorbok transparent letter stickers, glittered glue and Colorbox fluid chalkink.

Follow your Bliss.. My minimalist interpretation of the sketch where I played with acrylic paints on my fingers and sprayed glimmer mist for my background. I love this photo of my cousin Dionne and her baby boy Quinn. I used here white cardstock, My Little Shoebox papers (Flying High's Bird's Eye View and All a Flutter's Flutterby and Wings and Things), chipboard flower, AAS wire, Kaisercraft crafter's acrylic paints, Tattered Angel's blue and marshmallow glimmer mists, American Craft and Dear Lizzy's Rubon transfers and glittered glue.

I traded off my schedule for today with scrapping. I was supposed to watch my eldest son's dulaan in school, but Luigi told me not to watch because he might get conscious in acting the role of Don Timoteo. Good thing eventhough I did not attend, their class WON! Actually, I woke up at the wrong side of the bed but I opted to change my mood to attract good vibes the whole day. Oh well, I ended up making 4 pages using my few MLS papers. I will post the rest of my MLS pages soon.

That's it for now, TFL!

Who's the BOSS?

This is a 30 minute layout! Made this one for my cousin Janice who celebrated her birthday last Wednesday. I haven't given her anything since she got married last December, so I thought of making a framed-layout for her and her husband Buggy.

Who's the Boss? I used here Sandylion pps, Kaisercraft chipboard swirls, Prima flowers, Bangkok flower, cardstock, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, K and Company 3D wedding sticker and MM tiny alphas.

... Scrap-piness!

My prize from Scrap, Inspire, Create's April brand challenge finally came! I am one happy Mama again.

The moment I saw this Martha Stewart puncher, I fell in love with it and WANTED it very badly. Thanks to Lasting Impression for giving me the last piece, YaHOooo!

I am also the happiest everytime I accomplished an assignment... I am finally done with 4 debut albums, and two of it are now ready for shipping. Just as I am about to rest, another one just came in! Now this is what I call real "Scrap-pines"!

Happy weekend Everyone and happy crafting too! Thanks for dropping by...

She...

I am so happy that I am still with Scrap Yourself and I'm on my second term now! And for my first post assignment, I thought of posting this old project we did during one of Scrapping Moms' Scrapfest in Manila. The album comes in a unique top loading box and slip on 6x6" page protectors. Please join us at Scrap Yourself blog and be inspired to start creating about yourself...

The pages were created on 6x6" Basic Grey papers, Prima flowers, brads and metal ornaments, buttons and threads, cardstocks, ribbons, fluid chalk inks and epoxy letter stickers. The album case was customized and was covered with Chatter Box papers and decorated with K and Company papers and some ribbons. This happened to be my first "All About Me" project and it made me appreciate and love myself more.

Happy Monday friends and thank you for always dropping by my blog...

Going Multiple... again!

Last Monday, Yvette surprised me again with a bunch of photos to be scrapped. This time she asked me to scrap her favorite Uncle who died recently. Even during my cross stitch days where DMC has this computer program on converting photos into cross stitch patterns, I ruled myself never to stitch people that were already gone. I didn't even have the courage to stitch my own Dad's photo, maybe because I am afraid of haunting? Whether its stitching or scrapping, for me its the same because of the use of photos. But as I saw Yvette's photos, I totally forgot it because the photos were full of adventure and happy memories. Let me share some of the favorite pages I created...

Scrapping multi-photo pages can be easy for some, because the photos cover much of the space leaving a little area for your creativity to play. Ytet Solivet once told me, that could be true... but what about the time you spend in thinking and use of papers? For me its experience, exposure and creativity all together. Hope I inspire you somehow to keep those tons of photos to be laid out.

Happy scrapping and keep the momeries alive... TFL!

Lorenzo's Pages...

I wanted to scrap Lorenzo's latest photos! Been scrapping for debut projects this past weeks and I just missed creating for my boys. I'm taking things easy for now and squeezing some boy layouts. It's great to be scrapping on your comfort zone, just taking a little breather in between flowers and pinks.

His Toy Story... Lorenzo's favorite at the moment is Toy Story and these are his toys Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Bull's Eye. I used here Prima's Spaceboy pps, Fancy Pants journal card, cardstock, brads, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, Ranger glossy accent and chipboard gears from Ytet. I love this gears, I easily made this page to use them at once, Thanks Ytet!

Prep na Ako! Lorenzo is now on his last year in Pre-School. That will be exactly 3 years of schooling before he enters the Elementary level. He has matured a bit and became totally independent in school. Thanks to the wonderful teachers of Morning Star Montessori School, I don't need to bring him to school everyday.

I used here Cosmo Cricket pps, Creative Imaginations pps, Luxe Design pps, cardstocks, Jenni Bowlin bingo card, Tattered Angel glimmer mist and American Craft cardstock letter stickers. I just noticed the letters of PREP, Lorenzo played with the letter R and later placed it on top of letter E, oh playful little boy!

This coming week will be a little hectic for my boys because its exams time again and Luigi will be taking the UPCAT entrance test. I have exactly two weeks to finish some assignments and I will be preparing for Christmas. I have been roaming around Martha Stewart's site and I'm going crazy on fabrics!

Have a great and safe week everyone and thanks for dropping by my blog... TFL!
