Websters Pages Classes

I can't believe I was able to make Iris Uy pages!!! The LB girls attend her Websters Page Class exclusively here in Los Banos last Saturday, January 29. We had three pages to play with and we basically lifted her original pages plus a lot of new techniques and materials to be used. It was an afternoon of fun and scrapping, bonding and playing... wish ko lang maulit ulit! Now let me share my busy hands' creations...

Time with You... Its Mom and daughter time to take the center page, hehehe! Such a nice shot to scrap! Love the new things I made here plus the use of granular gel medium and mica flakes on the bird and his glimmery house. I used here white cardstock, Websters Pages pps and Sparklers, granular gel with acrylic paint and mica flakes, chipboard shapes, Adirondack acrylic dabbers, mist, Tsukineko inks, ribbons and Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

Heart with Joy... My second page was a shot of my two wacky boys in Tagaytay City after a lunch date with the family. Here we did some misting and stamping using Tim Holtz's Distressing Ink and water sprays. I used here Websters Pages pps and Sparklers, white cardstock, laces and ribbons, chipboard shapes, mists, Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Adirondack dabber, Prima flowers and Tsukineko ink.

My Love... Look at the blending of colors we did on our third page. We used the wonderful colors of Tim Holtz's Distress Inks and his blending tool and sponges. Plus another great technique with the use of gel mediums. Look at the centerpiece that we did as an accent which was adhered with the use of gel. I scrapped my two boys running and playing at the UPLB grounds after an all-day performance in school last January 27. For the materials, I used here Pink Paisley pps, Websters Pages pps, Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Adirondack acrylic dabber, laces, Prima flowers, AC Thickers chipboard letters, Tsukineko Ink and for the center embellishments I used safety pin, metal buttons and antique metal flower, beads and sequences, tule cloth and Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

Mr. Mojo is still here and my mind is still whirling with lots of ideas. I just wish I have the time to put them all in a white space! Iris left us with a little challenge on the left papers and embellishments all to be assembled on a white base. Oh well, mine is done but my eyes are still feasting over it. I will share it soon, promise!

My weekend is finally over and school will be in full blast for the 4th grading period. Thanks for dropping by my blog, TFL peeps!

Sketchabilities #39!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our first reveal for the new year at Sketchabilities! I still have hangover of the holidays and so I decided to scrap Lorenzo's Christmas photos. Here's what I came up with...

2010... Since I'm already working, I feel sorry for spending less time at home. Lorenzo constantly reminded me of putting up our tree as early as October. Christmas season comes early in my house and the boys are just excited about it. So this year, it was a bit late, but the excitement and happiness was just the same... overwhelming! Lorenzo still believes in Santa Claus and was worried his stockings won't fit Santa's gifts. He loves countdowns about anything that excites him, so you can just imagine how "kulit" this little boy is. I used here Fancy Pants pps, corrugated board, Bazzill cardstock edges and chipboard numbers, Scenic Route chipboard and pps, Prima's Antique Mistletoe, 7 Gypsies cardstock stickers, MM shimmer paint and Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist.

The weather is pretty much colder than last month, it feels like Baguio is here in Laguna! Nevertheless, Lorenzo is enjoying the cold breeze and its giving me a hard time waking up for work. 7 weeks from now, Lorenzo will be turning 7 and this is occupying much of my thoughts. I am working on a Toy Story theme party and my first move is to shop for little things for his loot bags and games. I am still searching for his Buzz Lightyear costume and its driving me crazy! Yeah, I am on panic mode now, and I think I am more excited than him, hahaha!

I feel I have finally adjusted on my daily routine in school. Just taking it easy for now and getting ready again for another major exam week. I am still scrapping, I'm glad I haven't forgotten it!

You're not lost, I just changed the face of my blog. Thanks for looking as always! :)

Mini mini!

I'm doing minis this past few days! Some friends are giving them for post-Christmas presents, I guess. They are 6x6 in size, contains 6 pages per album and quite easy to make with the big help of my pink Bind-it-All.

This balances my work in school, after a day of teaching, this clears up my mind and relaxes nerves. First plan for the year is finally moving on... giving our house a facelift! Hopefully it turns out nice and keeps within the budget. Thinking about the second plan, its my little man's 7th birthday coming soon and I have less than 2 months to prepare for it. I'm so excited!

Somehow, still enjoying my fully loaded weekend... Thanks for looking peep!

Nikki Sivil's yummy-ness!

I miss blog hopping! Finally have the time to hop just a day before I go back to work, aaarggh! Visit Ria Mojica's blog here and you can have the chance to win the whole Sugar Cookie collection from Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker. The CHA sneak are so nice and I want the Max and Mollie line, the Sugar Cookie is so sweet too... I wish I have the LUCK to win this yummy-ness!

I'm going back to work on Wednesday and I'm sure it'll be a pretty hard fight again because exam week is coming soon. I should be thankful for the 18-day Christmas break I had and that should recharge my energies for the last three months of the school season. I'm gonna miss malling with my boys and the bonding time we had during the Holidays. I'm happy that a lot of my work here at home were done like checking with the bank, saving and backing up my photo files, clearing my folders in my laptop, keeping my Christmas decors in boxes and having a total cleaning around the house. I wish to have a regular scrapping time even though I'm working. Oh well, lots of things in mind but life is slowly going back to normal. The most important thing for me now is to have a positive mind and attitude towards everything.

Oh great, I want to scrap! TFL!
