Ready for Delivery!

I just finished 29 clocks in a week and they're all packed up for delivery! Now I can scrap pages... its so nice that my mojo is slowly coming back.

Have to think of christmas gimmicks para naman mayaman ako sa pasko, hehehe! And I can have money for a little christmas present for myself at the PS-SE party, heard there'll be stores coming during the event.

Meantime, I'd like to greet everyone a "Happy Holloween!" and enjoy the short vacation! OMG, back to real life na naman ako sa lunes, back to school na naman! Huuu...

I finally got my Mojo!

Hey... that's me again!
Welcome to my challenge...hehehe!
I made two layouts after a little off in scrapping,
and as you can see, I am so comfortable creating Boy Layouts.
So my challenge is to make a 12x12 masculine page!
You don't really have to have boy pictures to scrap
but you have to execute a masculine look on your page.
BUT! There's a twist, okay!
You have to put a few flourishes,
but still doesn't loose that masculine feel.
Please leave me a "Mojo" message
and start scrapping that challenge!
Goodluck Ladies... I'm so eager to see your creations!
Please have them posted in your blog by tomorrow at 9 in the morning.
And leave me a link so we can see them.

And I was truly the happiest that weekend
because I won the First Scrappin' Kids
Ultimate Scrapbooker Challenge!

You ladies guessed it right,
but I still have one clue to lead you
to the next exciting challenge...
You have to look for that designer who
"Just Moved"

If you find her,
please leave me a "moved" message
and start scrapping that challenge!

Goodluck! and Happy Scrapping!

I'm finally scrapping after three weeks...

I'm so happy to be back! SCRAPPING and BLOGGING at the same time... I really don't know what happened to me for the past three weeks or should I say after the Idol Challenge. My scrapping mojo suddenly disappeared, parang naubos lahat ang art ko sa katawan, hahaha! The last few days I have some papers laying on my table and I said I MUST SCRAP OR ELSE!!! Oh well, here are some pages I made for my eldest son Luigi, he just turned 15 last month.

Surf... Luigi's favorite past time this days! I used here Dream Street Paper, cardstock, brillance ink, Tim Holtz tickets, Prima flowers, AAS fabric covered brad, MM brad, Scenic Route chipboard letters and shape, ribbons and lace, WRMK metal hardware.

Celebrate... Luigi celebrated his 15th birthday last September 26 here at home with his classmates and our family. I used here Bo Bunny pps, cardstocks, corrugated kraft board, AC Thickers glittered letters, 7 Gypsies gaffer tape, AAB gold wire, felt ribbons, MM staple wires, pigment ink, MMe cardstock label and some buttons.

Thanks for looking guys!

Scrappin' Kids turns One!!!

Hello everyone... I'm so happy to tell you guys that Scrappin' Kids will be celebrating its 1st birthday ever! All you have to do is to choose one of the previous challenges here and submit a layout with a little write up about why you choose such month. We are choosing 3 winners for this month instead of 1, Wati must be sooo generous again for giving RAKs!!! So come join us and let's party!

Well, I also get to choose my favorite challenge and its Challenge #5 Lovey February. Here's my take...

Extreme Family Fun
This photo was taken during my mom's birthday held in Tagaytay. Eating is one of the best bonding moments ever in my family. We all gather up, tell stories while dining and just enjoying each other's company.

I also want to tell everyone to hang out in the SK forum, we are going to have lot's of fun before this month ends... see you there!

TFL!

The Finale...

Wow!... I cannot say anything, I'm totally speechless! This group of ladies really know how to torture our minds. The grand finale challenge was set for 3 hours and we were asked to make a shaped layout using all the materials given (4 patterned papers, buttons, beads, 3 sets of ribbons, raffia trim, velvet ribbon, chiboard shapes, and a glittered x'mas fern).
Here's my finale layout...

The moment I saw the pictures and theme requirements for the finale, I thought of putting up our christmas tree already. Chuy would peek out of the window each night and look at our neighbor's twinkling christmas lights and he would ask me to put up our tree soon. Early this week I was a bit feeling sick, so we didn't go to school but instead got ready to put up our tree, it took me the whole day to clean everything. When I was done at around 6 in the evening, I lighted the tree and my two boys just sat down infront of the tree. In our house Christmas starts with the tree and sooo super event samin ang pagtatayo nito. Super picture naman ako to capture the moment... thanks to Diane and Cookie for editing my pictures!

I am so happy to be on the top 3 of the Idol... in my heart I know it'll be Cookie who will be this year's Idol. I am so proud of you dear! To my fellow finalist, it's so nice taking this journey with you. Thanks Donna for being my table-mate kahit super lamig ang aircon na nakatutok satin, to my fellow LB Scrapaholics Ate Liezl, Rita, Cors, Timi, Ytet, Chiqui and Helga for all the support and encouragements, sa mga fellow scrappers ko who embraced me and said "Kaya mo yan!" Nita Ang, Lee Imao, Diane, Cabbie, Mel, Au Lim (wag na magtampo kung may nakalimutan ako!), to the Scrappin' Moms for coming up with this year's Idol, to Wati Basri for that goodluck note and most specially to my family, for their patiences and support everytime naloloka ako at natutula! Don't worry mga kids, Mommy's life is back to normal but still SCRAPPING!

Here's my wonderful prize! Thanks to the Scrappin' Moms... Liza, April, Ria, Pia, Iris, Joanne, Siena and Mia.

My SM Idol Layouts... finally we can post them!

I can't wait to share my Scrappin' Mom's Idol Layouts... maybe because I am truly happy with all my outputs. Here goes...

Ellimination Round: Em Magpoc's Sketch

Star Biker
Been keeping this photos of Chuy for quite awhile, probably waiting for the perfect sketch for these pictures. Good timing because the Idol's ellimination round was up that time and we were asked to interpret a sketch by Em Magpoc.

Week 1: It's Party Time! Let's Celebrate!
Spa Party
First round was so hard... really! We were asked to make a-4 party favors set that includes a pop-up invites, and there should be a repeatitive element on each favor. I choose a Spa Party theme... with oriental motif, bamboos and roses ornaments! The Scrpaholics helped me so much in this round, they gave me bright ideas and Rita even lent me her plates and mini fountain. Thanks as usual mga Lola!

Week 2: Color Theory and Harmony

R and R
This week's challenge was a layout using red, orange, violet and green colors only, and 5 different sizes of photos. It was so timely that we have new photos taken from Ate Liezl's birthday blowout at the Grand Villas Bae, Laguna. I had fun with the colors, I even made a 6x6 page requested by the celebrant for her own mini album. I will never forget this day with the Scrapaholics, great memories talaga!

Week 3: Direction and Movement

Chill Out
This was a super praning week for me! Chuy was admitted in the hospital Monday evening and I haven't done my week's challenge yet! I was thinking of going home Wednesday afternoon to scrap, and luckily we were discharged that day. This was an old picture of my son Luigi and his classmate-barkada Aldrey, Ytet's son. This week's challenge was to make a layout with a dynamic movement capturing your or somebody else's life in a day.

Week 4: Layers of me

Only Girl
... this was my favorite round! I love the design concept on dimension and layers. The Moms asked for a layout focusing in ourselves, create our own embies and there should be layers on the page. I'm so happy with this page, feeling ko I learned another major technique. This picture was part of the Grand Villa's blowout.

Week 5: Balance and Symmetry

Take Each Step of Life
In this round we have to produce an asymmetrically balanced layout with at least 1 supersized photo. Again they asked for photos that were never been scrapped or posted, wala pa naman akong backlog na photos ngayon! This photo was taken at the admi building of UPLB. After hearing the mass at St. Therese, I asked the kids for a short shot at the Centennial seal of UPLB, I just love this photo! This was the round that really made me nervous, for me this was the make or break time!

Week 6: Six and Counting...Why do I deserve to be the next Scrapping Mom's Idol?

Eh Gusto ko eh! (I want it!)
This week's challenge was to make a layout answering the question "Why do I deserve to be the next Scrappin Mom's Idol?", using 6 materials and 6 colors ONLY! Oh well, I don't have a picture again... I was thinking of many gimmicks but I ended up being photographed by my hubby Dodo. I could not go out to shot because my eldest was sick of flu that weekend. It was Sunday already and I still don't have a picture... waaaahhh! I was munching on my SK kits that day while hubby was playing with the camera. He asked me why I do like to be the Idol? And I instantly answered "Eh gusto ko eh?! with a taray look and he instantly clicked... and that was the start of my layout! Basta gusto ko eh!

And so, there goes my 7-week Idol entries... thanks for looking!

Guest Designer for Scrap, Inspire, Create Brunei...

I'm so happy to design for Scrap, Inspire, Create site in Brunei... and this month's challenge is all about chipboard and flourishes and you can view it here.

I Pray...
Chuy's picture here was almost a year old already, this was taken during All Saint's Day. I caught him saying a little prayer for his sister Maxine and his Daddy-Lo. And after that he had the whole time playing with the candles. I used here K and Company and Basic Grey papers, cardstock, MM tiny alphas, Buzz and Bloom flourishes chipboard, Prima flowers, AC Thickers letters chipboard, gold acrylic and Crackle piant.

Thanks for looking...
