Sketchabilities #50!

I can't believe this will be my last sketch for Sketchabilities! My second term is over. Join us this month at Sketchabilities and have a chance to win this scrappiness... Here's my take for sketch #50!

More Fun! This was part of Lorenzo's 7th Birthday celebration. Sharing some photos of the Pot Balloon, Pinata and the Pabitin fun. I used here Scrapworks and Chatterbox pps, DCWV cardstocks, K and Company Boy Awning tag, buttons, Prima Essentials 5 Space Boy flowers, ribbons and laces, baker's twine, AAS Puffy alphabet stickers and Tattered Angel's glimmer mist.

I am sick again! Got a terrible cough and colds, pinning me down to bed this weekend. Wish to be well soon so I can do something else than stare at the ceiling of my room!

Thanks for looking peeps!

Sketchabilities #49!

Sketch time once again and here's another take for Sketchabilities!

Game on!... This was part of Lorenzo's 7th Birthday album, I scrapped the photos of the kids while playing games during his party. They had ball relay, pasta challenge and pin the hat of Woody. It was fun just looking at them! I used here Scenic Route pps, DCWV cardstock and boy tag, AAS puffy letter stickers, brads and wires, assorted ribbons and laces.

Kids are finally back to school and so am I! I had my first day of teaching in college level last Tuesday and it was really FUN. Another kind of challenge and adjustments for me, but so far my first week was pleasant and hassle free. I have been scrapping in between days of work and I aim to finish by this weekend. Hopefully, I can play with ribbons by next week. There's just so much time to CREATE and I am loving every moment of it.

Thanks for looking and happy creative weekend peeps!

Sketchabilities #48!

Happy 1st of June everyone! And its time for another inspiring sketch over at Sketchabilities. Our guest designer is Ms. Bente Fagerberg and the rest of the design teams' layout can be seen here. And here's what I made for sketch #48...

Proud of You!... We are truly proud of this kid, his graduation ceremony was doubled with his recognition rites and we were surprised to learn that he was the Logical Math-Time Smart Awardee. We love you Chuwee! I used here DCWV cardstock and pps, Creative Imaginations pps, native twine, MM mini brads, Prima journaling stickers, AAS chipboard and puffy alphabet stickers.

God is always GOOD... when a door slammed right on your face, He opens a window. In my case, He opened lots of windows! I had a big blow last month and I had a big fall and it took awhile to get up on my feet again. I initially thought about my kids, maybe I had a wake up call to get back to them and take care of them again since they're both moving up in school. Then I thought of doing something while I stay at home again, I opened an online store catering my crafts. I went back to scrapbook services and photography. And now, I am both excited and nervous for a teaching demo tomorrow. Yes! I'm back to teaching but this time with bigger kids and hopefully a BETTER school.

At this point, I am so THANKFUL to the Lord! I owe it also to my family who is very supportive specially my Mom who always gives me this extra PUSH, my Auntie Linda and Uncle Bill in Delaware who are so generous in giving me everything that I wish to play. My bestfriends (you know who you ARE!) who are always there thru thick and thin and my LB Scrapaholics sisters who never left me even though I was away when I was teaching in Calauan. Most of all, THANK YOU sunlight for always coming after each challenging dark night!

I'm UP and back to the grind! Thanks for always looking!

Sketchabilities #46!

Weather in the Phils. is SOOooo HOT! It has been two weeks since summer started and its getting terrible each day. What is the best way to cool down the temp? Here's what I discovered...

Foursome... Frozen YOGURT is IN this days and its best when mixed with fruits, nuts and candies. Had a little time out with good friends and had yogurt for dessert at SM City Calamba. I used here Scenic Router blue grid paper and pps, cardstock, AAS wire and fabric covered brads, glittered glue, Prima flowers and MM mini brads.

Last week was a total turn around on my teaching career, when the school I was working gave me a teaching load that I cannot perform. It was a "take it or leave it" situation which gives me this huge question mark on my mind... It was HARD as they said, but NO! I made it easier for you to kick me off and take the "leave it" part. On the brighter side of life, I have been traveling this past few days. Spending lost time with my kids and my new baby Richie, summer is still ON! And I am still thrilled for it!

I'm back to scrapping... TFL!

Summer is officially here! I will be off from school for a month.. Wooohoo! For now, all my weekends are taken and week days will be on surprise gimmicks. Holy week starts today and family gatherings just started yesterday. My scrap table just started making mess again and it feels good to be playing and rambling with my old passion. Hope to have more time with my kids specially now that both of them are entering a new phase of schooling, Luigi will be in college and Lorenzo will be Grade 1 by June.

I'm so excited for the coming days... thanks for dropping by blog! TFL!

I am so excited because summer is almost here! I will be taking a few weeks off from teaching and probably then, I can have some time to SCRAP! I am anticipating scrapbooking classes too for beginners, I hope plans will push through by mid of this month. I am also excited to play with my co-scrapaholics this coming Holy week! So I am crossing my fingers for an exciting summertime...

Sketchabilities #43!

Oh I'm late again! But here's my Sketch 43 and its up here... Join us and win scrap goodies!

For the Boys... Bonding moments to be added to Luigi's treasures about his Uncle Jay and Ninong Louie! They're his second Daddies in this crazy boy's world. I used here Basic Grey pps, DCWV cardstocks, corrugated board, Colorbox fluid chalk ink, button, DMC floss. Tattered Angels glimmer mist, Dusty Attic chipboard shapes and Jillibeans journaling sprouts.

Oh LIFE! I'm down to the final stretch for the school year and no matter how much work I have done, it will automatically multiplies on its own. It's tiring but the thought that I won't see the kids for the summer vacation makes me SAD! I will be on Mommy duties for awhile after 10 official days... looking forward to that!

I made it again!

Sketchabilities # 42!

This may come late here in my blog... been quite busy for the past weeks! But it always excites me to share a page for Sketchabilities! Here's sketch 42 and its up here...

Shabu-shabu... It was our 18th wedding anniversary and we celebrated it in Tagaytay. We were driving around the hill to find a good place to have lunch when we found this shabu-shabu resto. Tried it and the last thing I heard was a lonnnggg BURP! It was Lorenzo's first time to cook and eat shabu-shabu. I used here DCWV Green Stack pps, cardstocks, AC Thickers foam shapes, K and Company diecut flowers, Jillibeans journaling sprouts, DMC thread and Ranger glossy accents.

Been out of touch for almost 3 weeks, been so occupied preparing for Lorenzo's 7th Birthday Bash plus need to do the final stretch for school requirements. All came up at the same time and I was afraid I might lost time. But inspite of all these, blessings are still pouring! Thank God!

Thanks for looking as always!

sketchabilities # 41!

Its up and you can see the designer's inspirations here. Join us for another month of challenge and win exciting scrapbook goodies. In the meantime, here's my interpretation of sketch #41...

Rainbow of Friends... My scrapbooking buddies truly have unique birthday ideas and they make sure that you will be the happiest on your special day. Here we celebrated Dra. Chiqui and Ytet's birthdays at Sanctuario de San Pablo. Its such a nice place to create a rainbow of friendship! I used here Prima papers and flowers, cardstock, corrugated board, AAS gromets, fibers, lace, Ranger glossy accents and transparent letter stickers.

Just had my first PTC in school last weekend. I was so worried and nervous but it all turned out okay! Now we're heading towards the last quarter of the school year. It'll be exactly 6 weeks from now. At the same time, I am now busy preparing for little Lorenzo's 7th celebration. I need all the powers to do both Mommy and teacher duties, so wish me luck again.

Thanks for looking peeps!

Sketchabilities #40!

It's the love month and I can't believe we are on the second of the year already... time moves sooo fast! And I'm on my 7th page for Sketchabilities. Join our monthly sketch challenge and win exciting prizes, check it out here.

XOXO... Here's a photo of my Chuwee and his Dad having a little bonding time together. Its quite seldom to find a nice photo of the two boys and its great to capture it in scrapbook pages. I used here DCWV Green Stack pps, chipboard shapes, cardstocks, glittered glue, AAS recycled heart shape, and AC Thickers vinyl letters.

I am so high with scrapbooking this days, after I attended a class last weekend, I still feel like scrapping all the time. Unfortunately, its busy time in school and we are working on grades, grades and GRADES! I just wish I can have another ME time really soon! I am also excited for little Lorenzo's 7th bash and I'm working on a Toy Story surprise for him. Life is so tiring, but it is still good after all!

Thank you Lord! TFL as always.

Sketchabilities #39!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our first reveal for the new year at Sketchabilities! I still have hangover of the holidays and so I decided to scrap Lorenzo's Christmas photos. Here's what I came up with...

2010... Since I'm already working, I feel sorry for spending less time at home. Lorenzo constantly reminded me of putting up our tree as early as October. Christmas season comes early in my house and the boys are just excited about it. So this year, it was a bit late, but the excitement and happiness was just the same... overwhelming! Lorenzo still believes in Santa Claus and was worried his stockings won't fit Santa's gifts. He loves countdowns about anything that excites him, so you can just imagine how "kulit" this little boy is. I used here Fancy Pants pps, corrugated board, Bazzill cardstock edges and chipboard numbers, Scenic Route chipboard and pps, Prima's Antique Mistletoe, 7 Gypsies cardstock stickers, MM shimmer paint and Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist.

The weather is pretty much colder than last month, it feels like Baguio is here in Laguna! Nevertheless, Lorenzo is enjoying the cold breeze and its giving me a hard time waking up for work. 7 weeks from now, Lorenzo will be turning 7 and this is occupying much of my thoughts. I am working on a Toy Story theme party and my first move is to shop for little things for his loot bags and games. I am still searching for his Buzz Lightyear costume and its driving me crazy! Yeah, I am on panic mode now, and I think I am more excited than him, hahaha!

I feel I have finally adjusted on my daily routine in school. Just taking it easy for now and getting ready again for another major exam week. I am still scrapping, I'm glad I haven't forgotten it!

You're not lost, I just changed the face of my blog. Thanks for looking as always! :)

Here's another beautiful sketch from Sketchabilities! Checkout our last reveal for 2010 and join our monthly challenges and win scrappilicious prizes! Thank you Karan for this wonderful sketch and my co-designers for their different inspirations. And so here's what I came up with...

Christmas through the years... Christmas will always be a well-spend occasion for me and my boys, and I see to it that I will capture every memory for them. This photo was taken at the Nativity Hut of UPLB here in our little town. I used here Websters Pages pps, Bazzill cardstocks and edges, corrugated board, Tattered Angel glimmer mist, MM tiny letters and AC chipboard letters.
