... This came from Zoa Barker! She had a week-long birthday RAK with a daily and grand draw and guess what I won? Ems Foronda PMed me and told me I won the grand prize and here it is...

SY4: If I could Turn Back Time...

This is this week's challenge at Scrap Yourself and you can view my co-DTs' reveal here. This topic was chosen by Jill Sarginson, she just had to leave the group for some reasons. We'll gonna miss her pages, but we surely hope she'll come back again to inspire us all. Here's what I came up with...

Always Be... If I could turn back the time? I want my little Lorenzo to ALWAYS BE my baby. Its so selfish of me to wish, but I know that one day this little kid will grow up and find his life, and will no longer be mine to hug and kiss. I just wish time will slow down a bit to somehow enjoy him more. I used here Prima papers, flowers, centers, lace, letters and epoxy sticker, silk flowers and leaves from Bangkok, Ranger Crackle paint, ribbons and cardstock.

Are you watching Cinema One channel? Have you seen the different windows flashing before a movie starts? I got this window idea from that, I just thought it could be a great idea to use in scrapbooking... try it, create your own window!

Oh my! I've been so lazy after my dental check up, been nursing a healing gums since Monday. This week was so relaxed, I was just hanging around the house and FBing... Gotta go out for some sunshine, tomorrow!

Thanks for looking!

Getting Organized!

Thank God its Friday!

I was a little anxious this morning and so I thought of scrapping again to forget this silly feeling. Before I started to play, I placed all my finished pages on its proper albums. I ended up fixing my cabinet of albums, recording the contents of each albums and making a master list of it, and finally putting a label on each albums of the boys. I used the 2"x2" acrylics which I got from Ytet, decorated a bit with patterned papers and letter stickers and adhered with Ranger glossy accents. Oh its about time I organize all these albums! Luigi got 5 thick albums while Lorenzo got 7 already, and I got 11 most of them about my travels. Whew! Took me the whole morning to work on it, let me share them with you...

Oh well, summer is about to end and I have to be back to school AGAIN! I'm down to 12 units and I hope this will be my last semester. I will surely miss summer! But somehow I'm happy that I was able to accomplish a lot for the kids, not to mention the big damage on my pocket! Will just enjoy the coming days and now I'm ready to scrap and load new pages again!

Happy organizing! TFL!

Brights for the SUMMER!

My Facebook status yesterday was "... thinking of HAPPY POSITVE thoughts and no room for worrying! One page in one hour, not BAD!" Happy positive thoughts means SCRAPPING for me, because I'm the happiest everytime I scrap. I was able to finish some pages and made 3 more yesterday.

I have the mood for bright colors this days and all that's left with me are summer photos of Chuy and little Garrie. I dusted off my Sassafras papers and it matched my mood to scrap with it yesterday... here's what I played!

MSMSI Senior Casa Class... Here's a layout of Chuy's class photo and I included his school ID and report card which are all part of his memorabilia. I used here DCWV cardstock, 7 Gypsies Most Memorable pps, KI Memories pps, AAS Brads, Sandylion stickers and strings.

Star Kid... I see to it that moments like these are properly documented, hehhee! I used here cardstock, KI Memories pps, 7 Gypsies pps, AAS brads, Little Yellow Bicycle transparent sticker, Sandylion stickers and strings.

Good Eats...Chuy's photos of his love for eating shows that he is a bread man and an ice cream addicted. Oh well, he is super spoiled with me when it comes to food, I always give him whatever he likes... just dont look at him when he eats! I used here Sassafras Anthem pps, corrugated board, AC Thickers foam, chipboard and glittered letter stickers, Imaginisce squishy flowers jelly embies, Little Yellow Bicycle transparent sticker, strings, letter tablets and Jenni Bowlin mini bingo card.

Hot Summer... I can say that this is one of the hottest summers I ever experienced and its TERRIBLE! One time I was able to go around the mall. I found this little tubby pool and bought it for little Chuy. It was a total hit for him because I dont have to drag him anymore to take a bath! And before I forget, I lifted this page from Sassafras' DT Peg Manrique. I used here Sassafras Anthem and Bungle Jungle pps, cardstock, corrugated board, chipboard letters, a little fish figurin I found in our fridge door, Little Yellow Bicycle transparent sticker and Colorbox fluid chalk ink.

Daddy and Me @ EK!...Dodo and Chuy had a great time running around EK, here's some moments of bonding and just playing around. I used here Sassafras Anthem and Bungle Jungle pps and cardstock stickers, DCWV cardstocks, AC Thickers foam and chipboard letters and shapes stickers, buttons, DMC threads, AAS chipboard letters and Kaisercraft acrylic paint.

Pool Fun!... This is my niece Garrie taking a dip in our little pool, having her own way of beating the summer's super heat! Then after this short refreshing dip, she's ready for her nappy. I used here Sassafra Bungle Jungle pps and cardstock stickers, cardstock, corrugated board, Doodlebug cardstock letters, chipboard letters and colorful buttons.

"... no room for worrying!" I guess my scrapping time yesterday made me forget to worry. It's my annual check up with my internist and dentist, and its driving me nuts! Oh I'll be fine... because the world told me back!

Enjoy the rest of the summer, its gonna end real soon. Thanks for looking peeps!

SY 2: Daily Essentials

I'm so excited because I'm finally here at Scrap Yourself! My first assignment is to scrap about 3 of my daily essentials. Every girl has this certain essentials or needs everyday. Me, I cannot live without my cellphone, MP3 player and my black pouch (which contains all my ekek things like meds purse, lipstick, alcohol, USB, tissue paper, candies and eyeglasses). Oh its not only three but too many, so what's yours?

Take a Look Inside my Bag... I used here BG pps, cardstock, Prima flowers, buttons, native twine, ribbons, Fancy Pants pin, Colorbox fluid chalk ink, AAS foam letters and a heart embellishment from a key chain.

You can view my co-DTs reveal here. Hope you find the time to SCRAP YOURSELF! Thanks for looking...

Sketch #103

I personally love this sketch, made about 4 layouts using this one. Thanks to our Sketch Designer Aphra Boyler for this very inspiring sketch. I'm down to my last two sketches at Creative Scrappers and my term will be ending this month. You can view our reveal now and hope you get inspired with it to get you scrapping again.

Time Flies... I can't believe that I am a mother of a teenager. Time really flies soooo fast, Luigi is now 16 and growing up a little hard headed. I used here Bazzill Polkadot cardstock, American Craft pps and chipboard letters, Teresa Collins' Crush pps, lace, felt butterfly, Colorbox fluid chalk ink, Prima flowers, silk leaves, MM acrylic paint and chipboard flowers which I dont know the brand.

Since our household was busy last week because of our little girl's party and unfortunately, I was down too because of stomach flu, I think I'm gonna catch up with scrapping this week. I went out with the LB Girls yesterday and was able to make 3 pages, and I was able to vote last minute before the poll closed at 7pm. What a week it had been, I didnt even feel Mother's Day! So now I have to relax and be productive again... wish me luck!

Scrap, Inspire, Create's 2nd year Celebration!

SIC is celebrating their 2nd year anniversary this month and as always, its celebrated with a bang! They are having a "Topping Brand Challenge" and its sooo exciting! My first time to play with this kind of challenge, you get to choose what set of brand you like and you ONLY have use these brands on your layout. Here's what I came up with...

Just US... Its Mommyla and Lorenzo's bonding time at Enchanted Kingdom. Oh I forgot another twist on their challenge, there should be a number 2 element on your page. I used here Topping #1 which is K and Company-Floral Bella Filagree Printed embossed vellum; Webster's Pages-Lullaby Lane in due time pps; and Prima-epoxy sticker and alphabets, Flutter Vines Scarlet and peach flowers, and chipboard photo corners.

Happy Scrapping friends... TFL!
